Works Perfectly
I bought a couple of other branded external CD/DVD players for my computer since it does not have an internal drive. Both times there were problems and they had to be returned. I finally purchased the Lenovo recommended unit and it worked perfectly right out of the box. Hooked it up and loaded the software for the unit without a hitch.     You get what you pay for!
    Love this burner. The very first burner I bought on Walmart.com was inexpensive, but junk. Had a hassle returning it when I brought it back to the local walmart-- which with some adieu finally accepted it (even though it was a "Walmart Market" item). Bought this Lenova---beautiful! Bought another as a spare! You get what you pay for in this instance.

    Best value without sacrificing performance
    The portable DVD burner is beyond cool! It was easy to install, easy to load with my favorites, easy to install on other computers. I moved audio, video files, pictures, movies, anything I wanted to load onto the DVD burner. And the footprint was small. And the price for the function was outstanding.     easy to use
    I bought this because the computers no longer have the DVD drive built in to the laptops. This drive helped me download all my 48G of music from my CD's to my laptop. I know everyone is into streaming their music but I am still old school and have cd's. Without this portable drive this would never have gotten into my computer and yes I still use DVD's for movies.
