Constantly needs to be reset.
When coins are put in slot they are always identified by the machine as quarters even when they are not. After resetting via the reset button it started to work correctly and then started to malfunction again, despite having fresh batteries. Returning this but will look for another cash register made by another company.

    If you think to buy or not - absolutely yes! It costs every penny!! My 4 y.o. daughter adores pretend playing with it and learn counting ! Great quality. AAA weren't included but we found some chip in Long drugs

    Stopped working after a months
    I was looking forward to my grandkids getting to play with this for a long time because they love playing store. I was disappointed that I got the model that did not last and even with new batteries there seemsto be a short in it somewhere. I'd like to know if the company is willing to discuss this with me. I'd appreciate it.

    I would recommend this for parents
    Phenomenal! My girls love it. My wife and I home school our girls. This is helpful with money and counting. Our girls are 4 and 5 years old.

    Long Lasting!
    We had our first one over 15 years. It still works the same as the day we bought it. We purchased a second one since we have 3 little ones. Highly recommend this cash register. Great learning toy. it comes with pretend change and paper play money so you can teach coin value and size. Do math. etc. The money is still intact from 15 years ago. This time around we laminated it. This is a great learning tool. They are heavy. Not the kind you will see your younger toddler walking around with.

    Fun in learning
    My grandson was ecstatic when he opened his birthday present! There was an older model at my sisters house where we spent Christmas, and he enjoyed it so much that I got this one for his birthday! Excellent!! Teaches kids how to count money back!! Not many folks can do that these days!! Have fun while learning!!
