Very nice machine, money well spent!
This humidifier has made a world of difference in my health. I am breathing easier, I find my head is not feeling so stuffed up in the morning. I have been having headaches continuously and they are getting less and less. It is easily set up and easy to adjust the settings to my needs. Highly recommended especially during winter when heaters are running and air is drier.

Wish I hadn't ordered this
So disgusted with this appliance, manual is not helpful. Be happy you didn't order this, messing with it for hours and still no warm mist. Can't figure out the humidity settings. Returning.

    It meets my expectations for $60 humidifier
    Likes: Aesthetics, size of reservoir, multiple controls, easy care, can use tap water Dislike: The heat setting to generate a warm mist doesn't really do so and was disappointing

    Not good quality.
    I found broken parts inside base after It had been filled with water plugged it in and took apart to see why it wouldn't work

    Don't buy it!
    First one was two months old, and it stopped working. Second one is one week old, and it stops and starts. Obviously not worth it.

    I love this thing. It's everything it says it is. It's great and I can tell a difference after a day 1/2 . I think the dogs can too.

    Awkward mist
    I would not recommend this product for the following: Light keeps you up because it's too bright. Misting too strong compared too competitors. Very awkward to carry safely empty or filled. Even with using distilled water must thoroughly clean after third usage. Does not have a storage case I did not like how loud it was. I woke up more congested than prior to usage. I did like the cosmetic/aesthetic appearance I did like that it wasn't visually bulky no matter what room you place it in.

    Okay humidifier
    The humidifier has a night light feature that stays on during the night if it's to be used in a child's room and the panel can also be shut off. It is indeed quiet throughout. My only issue is that the water needs to be replaced after only 20 hours and not 100 hours as advertised.

    Great choice for a humidifier!
    My husband and I just so happened to be on the market for a humidifier for our room when we got the offer to try out this Lasko unit. We have been using it for 3 weeks now and I have to say we are very happy with it. It's got a large tank which means we don't have to refill it as often and it's very quiet you cant tell it's on except for occasionally when the water "glugs" down into the lower part of the unit. I like how there is a multi- directional spout on top to send mist to more than one area. So far we have only used the cool mist option but love that there is a warm mist option for cooler days. I also love the sleek rectangular shape which to me feels a little nicer for an adult room (as opposed to the droplet shaped one we have for our 5 year old) the option to have the soft lighting on/off is also a nice touch - it's not too abrasive but we sometimes use it as a nightlight. We typically use it continuously through the night so have not explored the timer function, also the humidity percentage to me seems a little overkill. I just want to turn it on/off and not mess with percentages of humidity. My only one con is when we were first setting it up the water from the upper tank filled the lower reservoir too much several times in a row and needed to be emptied before it would produce mist but that was a small issue and considering the size of the tank we don't have to mess with that all too often. All in all I would definitely recommend this unit. Being Lasko brand it is one we have considered as we have fans from the brand that we love /function well so I had high hopes for this humidifier and it didn't disappoint!
