Very good purchase
This is my second heater from Lasko. Their heaters are durable, put out good heat and aren't very expensive. Same for this one. I purchased it for my bathroom. Perfect size. Sits on the old base board heater, out of the way.

Melted. Lacks basic controls others have
Melted, deforming the face, and then the fan gave out. The overheat protection apparently doesn't work. No fan-only mode. No cool-down mode. Only 1 heat mode. Other 400-500 Watt heaters for the same or less have overheat protection, fan mode, 2 fan speeds, and 2 heat settings.

    The description of this item said it was desk top heater. The instruction manual said if you put it on a wood desk it could damage the desk's finish. That was the only place I needed to put it, so it was no use to me.

    Quality Control Issues
    I am not sure if it was used or what, but the way it was packaged led me to believe that it was a return or something. The box had previously had a sticker on it that had ripped off the cardboard in places. I opened it to see if the inner contents looked okay and at first glance it looked like it was original packaging from manufacturer, but then I pulled it out and noted the odd duct taping job. It does not promote confidence and I paid full price and it is a heater/fire hazard and I don't want to risk burning my house down with inferior goods. My other box from Walmart was also poorly packaged and the goods inside definitely suffered. Do better, Walmart. Your prices aren't justifying your poor quality and lack of care as evidenced by your shipping, packaging, etc. these days. :(

    Small but Mighty
    I LOVE this little heater. I work from home and I seem to always be cold. So, instead of turning the heat higher in my house, I turn this little guy on (at my feet, under my desk) and it does the trick. The fan makes a little white noise, but thats beneficial so you know if youve left it on. Such a great buy. Im now kicking myself for not buying it sooner.

    Great Heater, don't let the small size fool you
    I work in an office that is perpetually too cold, like most offices, which is why I purchased this. This heater kicks out surprisingly warm air, better than I expected. However its small size barely takes up any room on my desk. The heat is highly concentrated, so it doesn't bother my neighbors and makes virtually no noise. The controls are extremely simple: Just on and off, which is great for being no-fuss. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone needing nice warm heat in a small area (cubicle, desk, etc). The only thing I don't like about this is that there is not a tip-over auto shut off, but since I see many larger more expensive heaters at the store without that feature either, I really can't hold that one thing against it.
