The One Where Gunther Hosts Open Mic Night
While I haven't seen an episode of Friends (as of yet), this set makes me want to try and hunt down the complete series on blu-ray and start it. The set itself was pretty manageable to build as most of your build come from building the outside and back walls. While it feels like a grind, it actually isn't for a 1,070 piece set. Once you get the back wall done, it becomes simpler from there and in this case, the light rigs aren't actually a hinderance and neither were the stickers (as there were only 4 or 5 of those) and the lights I feel add to the set this time around. One of my favorite parts was adding the Central Perk drink list as I was glad to find that was a printed piece and not a sticker. There's a lot of playability with this and if you have The Apartments set, you can even add Janice or swap out the other versions of the main characters (with the exception of Gunther. Gunther I feel is more centered around Central Perk) or if you really want to get creative, have "sitcom invasions" where if you have Seinfeld or The Big Bang Theory, you could have those mini figs "interact" with the Friends cast and have a lot of fun and vice versa. Having both a buildable piano keyboard and a mic stand, it gives you a lot of freedom if you want to have Phoebe play her guitar on stage or have one of the other characters play on the piano. While small, Central Perk packs a lot of fun.

Unbelievable, missing parts that prevent build
I have now ordered this set TWO TIMES and both times was unable to get past step one. I finally decided, with my second set, to just try to build it and order the missing parts……100% unable to build as the parts that are missing are part of the structure. Literally would need to go through and figure out what parts are missing by looking at the instructions and then keeping a list of parts missing (without building)….it's ridiculous. I was so excited for this set and it's just insane the number of missing parts. TWO SETS ordered and LITERALLY could not get past step one as Gunthers head, hair and pants were missing. Just TERRIBLE quality control here. Not acceptable.

    Missing pieces
Opened the first bag and on step 2, missing a piece. Went forward and realized most of the pieces are missing from bag 1. I only got the torso of the bartender mini figure and some flat pieces.

Better interest rates than any savings accnt
It's a very beautiful intricate piece. There are like more friends fans than there are LEGO fans as it was a world wide cultural and beloved show. I don't understand why the shelves are still full regardless I'm buying them all up on discount and I will rerelease to the community in 2-3 years at a collectors item price. Good luck, happy hunting $$$$$$$

    Friends and Leggo's
Even though I'm 68 years old, I love the T.V. show,Friends and I love Leggo's. I bought this from Walmart because they were selling it for $10.00 less than most retailers. My friend bought a set of lights for it. I can't wait to put it together!

Awesome replication of Central Perk. I also purchased the Lightailing kit which just adds to the detail Hours of fun here.

    Love it
Love this set! It was really fun to put together with my 8 year old and it has so much detail, everyone that sees it says how awesome it is. Definitely one of my favorite lego sets so far.

The One That Started It All
I had been out of the Lego game (besides the games) since the first Star Wars sets came out in the late 90's. I adored them as a kid, took a break to try to be cool as a teenager and went back to them in college and then was broke so that was that. Always thought they looked cool but never felt the need to get any. Many moons later, the quarantine began, and this set caught my attention, and I thought, "Hey, this could be fun! Hopefully it doesn't awaken any inner-demons!" (Narrator: It did). Anyway, this set was so fun to build, the amazing amount of details was really something to behold. I got this last year and I still stare at it every now and then. The exterior side with the doors and the brickwalls is as gorgeous as the inside. If you display it near a corner, you can angle it perfectly to see everything. I added some background actors in it and have had a lot of fun creating really messed up scenarios. Thanks, Lego! You saved my sanity!
