Brightness dropped after 2 weeks of use!
The brightness of the bulbs dropped after a week of use. I was happy when this arrived and thought it will be a great fit to light up the garage when opening and closing the garage remotely. But after using the bulbs for about 2 weeks , I noticed the brightness of the bulbs dropping and now the condition is such I have to switch on the other garage lights to move around.

    Expensive LED Garage Door Opener Bulbs
    Bulbs work fine although previous ones never really interfered with Homelink. These don't either. I have double door openers so purchased 2 sets of 2 bulbs. Would have rated higher except for two things: 1) Very expensive when UPS brokerage fee added on receipt for shipping, not to mention high shipping cost to Canada when purchased; 2) Yet to see how long these bulbs will last before they burn out. All 4 replaced LED bulbs were still working fine after 7 years and have been re-purposed.

    Excellent bulbs
    We had a Genie garage door opener installed recently, and the technician said that standard LED bulbs might not perform correctly, so upon seeing that Genie created LED bulbs specifically for their systems, I bought a two-pack with the confidence they'd serve us with years of service.

    Nice white light
    Great addition to a 20 year old Genie garage door opener. And a lot of brightness to our garage. I like the fact it won't interfere with the remote controls. Much whiter light than the old bulbs that were in there.

    Reasonable Cost/Peace of Mind
    As expected this light fit properly into new Genie garage door openers. These LEDs do not appear to cause any interference with the remotes on these openers. Cost is higher than simple LED bulbs, but extra cost brings peace of mind that there will be no interference.
