Great for sensitive ears
once sony stopped making their over ear phones I searched high & low for an affordable replacement. After several failures I discovered these! very satisfied.

Amazing sound, but poor quality materials
I wish I could recommend these. They are so comfortable and they sound so great! The first time I put a pair of these on, I was blown away by the incredible sound quality. The problem is that they just don't last. I've bought 4 pairs of these things so far. All of them have failed within a month or two. Every single time, it's the wire on the right earpiece. At first, it becomes sensitive to movement, so the speaker will cut out unless the wire is in the correct position. Then it will just stop working completely so that I can only hear sound in the left ear. I've tried repairing them, but they never work after that. It's such a crushing disappointment! These things would be so great if they would actually be able to last longer. They're incredibly comfortable too. With hours of use at a time, I barely even notice they are there. I just can't justify buying them when they don't last long before breaking.

    Quality product
I have ordered 5 of these over the years and they are good quality, great audio and durable. I do not like the pods that are inserted in the ear. I have had the cords get pulled and damaged, but that was my fault. I will continue to order these.

Well made ear clip headphones. A bargain.
Just to start, in going from the most closed to most open sounding speakers, you would generally have well sealed earbuds, then closed headphones, then open backed headphones, then ear clip headphones, then speakers not on your head. I saw a review or 2 here expecting these to be closed. They are the opposite. You can expect these to let in outside sounds in and sound more light and airy than most headphones. If they are not turned up you can hold a conversation with your child and only one of you gets music. The speakers themselves have a quality diaphragm and are well tuned. They put out a nice, accurate sound with clear deep lows and no sharp peaks. The bass is reduced because of how the speaker sits on your ear, but it is not lacking in quality and I get used to it quickly. The sound also has slightly recessed mids with the phones I used them on. The ear clips have thick, bendable wire and can be adjusted to near perfection, which is nice if your ears aren't perfectly symmetrical. This lets the headphones stay on exactly the same and sound exactly the same. I have mine adjusted comfortable but snug and they are considerably more secure than any earbuds I have. They won't make your cereal thunderous like sealing earbuds, but it also makes no sense to use them while mowing your lawn. They are also more comfortable to me than earbuds, sometimes with the only thing reminding me they are there is the cord. And I also loop the wires over the ear clips to prevent an accidental snag from pulling loose a wire. Overall it seems like the budget went mostly to the speakers that would not be out of place in a good $100 headphone, then some for the best clips I've ever come across in an ear clip headphone, then very little for the housing which is still very nice for durability and being open backed, but looks kind of cheap imo. Depends where your priorities are. I prefer the sound, comfort and awareness of outside sounds when I get things ready in the morning with others still sleeping. They are pretty close to the Koss KPH30i, but more open sounding, secure on your head and look a bit cheaper.

Excellent choice for those who don't like earbuds.
These are pretty decent headphones, and I am glad I got them. The sound quality is above average, with decent bass tones. I got them because I like to listen to music/sleep tones in bed without disturbing the spouse. Earbuds just do not work for me, and are uncomfortable to fall asleep with. These are more comfortable. and will work well for "normal" use, also. The clips feel secure, so I think they would work well during workouts. I have been using them for a couple weeks, nearly every night, with no complaints. My only concern, that I have with any similar device, is how long the thin wires/cords will hold up without breaking and making them useless. Time will tell.

    Koss KSC75 Sportclip Ear-clip Headphones
Working as a transcriptionist and not liking anything stuck inside the ear, I searched for this type of earphones. I received these last week and have worked several days with them. They are absolutely excellent. The tone is crips, they sit comfortably AGAINST the ear and not in it, are light as a feather and I couldn't be happier! Thanks!

    Decent sound
For a small cheaper around the ear headphone, it's probably the best sound your going to get. I just wish they would last longer than several months. The weak part, seems to be the wire connection to the headphone.

    Good sound, short cord
These phones have a pleasant sound and are comfortable given their size. They are superior to other headphones of this type in the same price category. Note, the total length of the cord from plug to phones is 4' 2". I would make two alterations in design: longer cord and smaller ear clips. Overall, a good value; especially if you can buy them in a store and avoid shipping costs.

    Good sound a bit unwieldy
The sound is wicked good with remarkable bass for the price. It is a bit unwieldy and I don't like how it sits over my ears. It seems heavy. I tried running and it seems to stay in place while jogging. Overall I am happy. I hope I will get used to how it sits

    Great for joggers
I've owned these for over 4 years now (I didn't buy from Walmart, but they are the same ones) and I like to jog. I was always having problems with the 'ear bud' type falling out while jogging listening to my iPod. The sound is pretty good for something this small (Over the years I have bought these for friends as gifts, because they were having a similar problem with the ear buds falling out). They 'clip' on around the ear and stay put, and they're pretty comfortable..good volume of sound with crisp clean highs and good bass...they allow for 'ambient' sound so that you can stay in contact with your environment as you jog, walk, or whatever. These are a great buy, and for those that I bought these for as 'gifts' have never gone back to their 'ear bud' type head phones. A 'must have' if you have problems with the 'bud' type head phones falling out of your ears.
