Worked great for a large crowd.
We used this today for my parents 66th wedding anniversary meal for about 40 immediate family members! I am glad I bought to 50 quart size. My husband put it together and it worked great. We boiled potatoes, onions, corn on the cob, carrots, sausage and shrimp. It's great for entertaining and fun to do.

It's a gamble
Cheap pot, ok for boiling but absolutely not suitable for frying (unless you are trying to burn your house down). Burner is cast metal and mine came unfinished, meaning the hole for the gas coupler had neither been drilled out or tapped so I now have a $80 shed ornament. What else good is a burner that you can't supply fuel to? Overall, I wouldn't recommend this purchase. If you choose this brand, buy local so you can return it should you have a similar issue. If I would have read reviews first I would have steered clear all together. Apparently the coupler receiver not being right is quite a common complaint with this after doing research. If you are a mechanic and have a 3/8 tap set then go ahead and buy it. If you are not a DIY kind of person, this definitely isn't for you. Over all it assemble quickly and can be done with a set of pliers. Easy enough. If not for the ultra cheap pot and the bad burner I would probably give a much higher review. I am waiting to hear from King Kooker as I write this to see how they handle the problem.

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/30/2014K. Kooker delivered. The seafood cooked fast.Set-up was easy and quick. Once the proper temperature was attained, batches of shellfish and fish were cooked in short order. It was even able to keep the seasoned butter warm on the top cover. All in all, everything I expected. UPS on the other hand left a lot to be desired... The first delivery was lost (read 'damaged') causing great anxiety and concern as the cook-out was planned just days from the delivery date. Thanks to Walmart, it was replaced and delivery was made out-of-state to my reunion's location. StormyMVStormyMV

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/09/2014Perfect pot for a low country boilI was worried that the light weight pot would come to me dented like other reviews reported. But, the cooker came without a scratch. Perfect size for a large group boil or smaller serving by simply not filling it all the way. I should have ordered long tongs and oven mitts also. 5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/13/2013Worth every pennyWe are having a big BBQ and wanted something to cook the corn in. When this came we were very surprised at how heavy and sturdy it is. My husband put it together in a snap and we were boiling water. And having the basket makes it so easy to take the corn out. We are looking forward to many years of use.Lillin3031
