Used and stained wok
The package arrived in time but the steel wok had a large amount of yellow stains and what appears to be holes. Its definitely a used uncleaned wok

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/22/2020Easy to set up and a lot of fun to cook with! This outdoor cooker is very easy to set up and use. One thing to note is that this wok is made of steel and thus, like a cast iron skillet, it must be seasoned with heat and oil before the first use. This helps the wok be non-stick and prevent rust. But the kit comes with easy to follow steps on how to do this! This is my first time using a wok and it is so fun to use, especially on this outdoor cooker.Linzi

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/04/2020Nice burner - Wok not so good.Well constructed little burner. Easily assembled. The gas regulator has an adjustable control to manage your flame. The bad part of this unit is the aluminum wok. Alumninum reacts with acids such as wine or vinegar which are used a lot in Asian cooking - dont need the aluminum in my food. I replaced the wok with a carbon steel wok from my local Asian restaurant supply.KW

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/12/2013Good bang for the buck! For the amount of money you spend this is a great deal. The wok is actually pretty well made and if you know about woks, you want a cheap carbon steel wok for the best cooking. This wok fits the bill. Season it up right and it will work out just great. I did this because i do not have gas and cooking on electric just isn't right. I had a 12000 BTU single burner portable stove and let me tell you...this is like going from a candle flame to a flame thrower. I would highly recommend building a little base for the wok stand to mount to. I used a 24" square piece of plywood and 4 4x4's cut to 9" each. It raised the total height to about 32". It also makes the possibility of tipping over nearly zip. I do wish the wok had a handle that stuck out about 5 inches or so but a small gripe. An electric start would also have been nice but again very minor and I realize it would have been very difficult to engineer. I cooked in a Chinese restaurant for many years and I miss having the big flame to cook on. This is a cheap way to get it. I am going to at some point build a jet wok burner with the 80000 btu set up but that is for another day. Try to order this so it comes before your weekend. You will want to cook everything you can in your fridge. Oh and don't forget to fill the propane.SeoulMan
