Great starter train set. We gt it for our daughter when she turned 4. She loves it and the price is right! I definitely recommend this as a nice starter set to see if the kid likes trains. You can always add on if needed.

Very disappointed in this set
So disappointed in this. The trains dont even fit under the tunnel. The magnets are so weak that the trains dont stay together. The bulldozer broke immediately. Extremely cheap quality. My son gets more frustrated than anything playing with them since they never stay connected.

    My grandson loves it
    I got this for my 3 yr old grandson for his birthday and he loves it. My only complaint is that the train cars are two pieces that fit together, but they don't stay together so we used a little wood glue so they are not constantly coming apart.

    Great wooden train
    Only problem is when the whole train goes down the bridge it falls on its side. However, one car at a time and they don't fall over. A good toy for both genders.

    OK Starter Set
    We got this set as a Christmas gift for our train loving toddler. We were looking for something inexpensive and simple that we can add on to as he gets older. His interests change frequently, so we didn't want to get something big, or expensive, in case this is just a stage. This product serves it's intended purpose as we can add both track pieces and Thomas trains, as they are compatable with the tracks. The track pieces are well made and fit together nicely. Our son also loves the little fire engine and bulldozer that come with the set. Some of the extra pieces, like the trees and houses don't fit together well and fall apart easily, but we didn't buy the set for the accessories. I am also a litttle disappointed with the train as it doesn't stay on the track well, which is frustrating for our toddler. We've tried to solve the issue by having him just push the engine around until he gets the hang of it. We also rearranged the track to make an oval instead of the figure 8, which also makes play easier while he learns how to use it. Again, this is a nice little starter set for a young child just getting into trains. It doesn't require a huge investment in the way of space or money. I would just advise remembering that it's a less expensive set and some of the accessories will show that.

    Great quality
    Decided on this for the price and it seemed like it would last longer than the typical plastic ones kids have now. It is a lot more durable, easy to pick up, but entertains well. I would highly recommend this over the electric plastic race tracks out there. Nephew loves it!

    Wooden Train Set
    I bought this as a gift for Christmas this year to give to my nephew. We took it out of the box and checked everything out. This train set is really cute and you get all these extra pieces with it. It was within my budget, good quality, and doesnt make noise so that makes my sister happy. :) My kid at heart came out to play with this. Its a great find.
