Wow. Just Wow.
This dollhouse is SO much more than I expected. The quality is excellent, and everything is so well done. I can see this passing down as an heirloom for generations to come. The walls of the doll house are thick and strong, not at all flimsy. So many rooms! So many nice and fun furniture pieces, made of wood and what seems to be very durable plastic. What fun! Don't be intimidated when you first open the package and see all the many pieces, the dollhouse really isn't difficult to assemble but it will take some time. Plan on a long afternoon, especially if you have help from an impatient 5 year old. I like that everything can be stored inside when not in use and that the slick surface of the walls are very washable. There is plenty of room, when the house is opened, for 2 children to play in front of it together, and trust me, they will. When closed the house is bright and colorful and makes a nice addition to a child's room. Expect compliments. If you're planning to purchase a dollhouse you can't go wrong with this one, I promise. But be warned, the box is shipped with the contents visible (see picture). If the dollhouse is going to be a surprise gift, you'll want to be sure that curious little eyes aren't looking when it arrives.

    If you like IKEA, you'll LOVE this!
    Lots of screws and picture instructions. 2hr assembly. Guaranteed big smiles for any little girls waiting for completion...which makes it all worth it. This was a Christmas gift for my 6yr old. She loves it! It's 12/28 and she's still enamored. Mission accomplished. Side note: It does peel rather easily.

    The KidKraft Contemporary Deluxe Wooden Townhouse looks very nice and strong. It is made with really strong wood. All the parts and accessories was included and nothing was missing. Putting it together may take some time, but for a town house that is sure to last i don't mind. I have already bought some kidkraft dolls to go with it because no dolls are included only the funiture. Also keep it mind that fisher price dolls and parts and cars can also be used with the KidKraft Contemporary Deluxe Wooden Townhouse. I really love that it is wood because we already have some frozen stickers and dolls and plan to decorate the KidKraft Contemporary Deluxe Wooden Townhouse some more.

    LOVE LOVE LOVE
    To start i got the KidKraft Town house in exchange for an honest review. This doll house is beautifully made! Its all study composite wood and hard plastic, so it should hold up to my 6 and 3 year old quite well. I also love the detail and color of the furnishings, KidKraft went all out with the design! It really is quit lovely to look at and was fairly simple to put together, though a little time consuming. So unless you want your child to help build it, it would be best to assemble the night before especially if its a gift, just put a big bow on it and your good to go. All in all you cant go wrong with this KidsKraft doll house its definitely a win. Hope this review was helpful.

    We purchased a doll house last year for our 4 year old daughter. It fell apart within the first few uses. I do not think I will have that problem with this one. It is made of wood and plastic, and feels very sturdy. Maybe not for big big kids, but great for my 5 year old daughter and my 2 1/2 year old grandson. Keep in mind when buying this doll house that it is not intended for full size barbie dolls. Kid Kraft makes the small dolls that this one is intended for, you just have to buy them seperate. I also found them at Wal-Mart and they are very reasonably priced. The doll house comes with 26 large furniture and household items. The pieces are large and nicely detailed. The entire house is very thoughtfully made. Not just some ole thrown together junk. It folds out and expands to make up to 12 sections for your child to play in. Easy to fold back up and put away. The stating age on this doll house is 3 years old. However I do not see any reason why my grandson would not be able to play with it, with supervision. I can not imagine any child not loving this doll house. Oh, how I wish they had toys this cool when I was a kid.

    Love the detail!
    My kids are in love with this KidKraft Contemporary Deluxe Townhouse. It's the perfect height and width for my 5-year-old and 3-year-old to play together. If you do get something like this for a gift, keep in mind the time it takes to put it all together. This Deluxe Townhouse took me two hours to put together, some of that time involving "little helping hands". That said, if you are planning to get this Deluxe Townhouse for a slightly older child, it might be a fun project to assemble it together. The assembly instructions are fairly easy to follow. The only real task is to screw in lots and lots of screws. All the holes are already drilled and it doesn't require a lot of arm strength to put it all together. The KidKraft Contemporary Deluxe Townhouse is made of sturdy composite wood. The see-through sections are made of plastic. The house is very durable and a little heavy. There are openings in various parts of the house that make it easier to grip the house and move it if needed. The furniture that comes with the Townhouse are all made of painted wood. I love the detail in all the various pieces of furniture. This Townhouse does not include figures to go with it. Those are sold separately. I ended up using a set of little figures that were about three inches tall and they fit in the house really well. The package recommends this townhouse for figures within the five-inch range. Overall, a really neat addition to kids' playtime. The various rooms and ample amounts of furniture encourage creativity.

    I never would've thought this KidKraft Contemporary Deluxe Doll House would have been this nice!!!!! I have not set this KidKraft Deluxe Doll House up as of yet I plain to but at this time I'm moving so no point in setting this up. The colors are very bright I think anything from KidKraft is brilliant, bright - colorful e.t.c. I have added two pictures so you guys can actually see how this Doll House really is, wish I could've added more mut my picture limit is currently only two! This KidKraft Contemporary Deluxe Doll House comes with a total of twenty-six pieces, very huge excellent pieces. The wood is very thick, the online photos does this Doll House absolutely no justice whatsoever. The doors on any of these pieces open and close like the real thing to bad....no sound coming from the piano. When one of my daughters saw this Doll House box she said "mommy look it has a treadmill like you have" so as you can tell I think any child would love this item. I had recently purchased this same KidKraft Contemporary Deluxe Doll House online with my own money for my kids for Christmas but fed-ex lost my shipment but Walmart did however refund me my money....very ironic how Wal-mart spark reviewers had this available for free for me.....exchange for my honest review!!!! This Doll House came well packaged, very pleased with that. This Doll House has Six rooms with huge furniture for every single room. This Doll House folds away, which is very cool. Once I move I know my kids will play with this Item daily. buyers beware be really careful about how you put in the screws you might go into a wall connected just a thought. The age for this Doll House is age three years of age. I also said the ease of setup would be good but I only said that because I am really great at putting anything together so I'm pretty sure this single mom of four kids wouldn't have a problem setting this Doll House up but for the next person I really have no clue if you'd be able to set this up with ease. My three year old son would love to sit or stand and play with this KidKraft Contemporary Deluxe Doll House so any gender in my eyes are welcome to join in on the fun well at least I think so. To be completely honest I really do not think that this KidKraft Contemporary Deluxe Doll House will stand tall like most higher Doll Houses, now that's just my personal opinion. I absolutely love the attention to detail regarding this Doll House, lots of detail. The widows/doors are clear fiber glass I believe, water fall on the side of the Doll House, outdoor wall lights, oh....the bed is huge....like I said all of the pieces are big I am telling you this much whoever buys this Doll House they will absolutely not be disappointed trust me. I will set this Doll House on top of a quilt blanket that I turned into a rug for my girls room. I also wouldn't suggest that any child leans onto the top of this Doll House as I think this Doll House would buck under pressure again just my personal opinion. Before you buy this product please read the item description about this Doll House as one should do with any online order that way you'll save yourself some time by not getting an online item you did not need/want!!!!!
