Adorable
This is an adorable toy. I thought it might be a little young for my 8-year-old, but she loves it. She plays with it, walks it around, and dances or does gymnastics around it. It moves well, on carpet and hardwood, but doesn't move fast. It's not annoyingly loud, and it's very soft and cute. My daughter is quite tall, and the “leash” was plenty long for her. The controls are easy to use, as well. I definitely recommend this walking unicorn (or other animal) for fun for you kiddo.

    Great buy
    I bought this pup for my puppy; he needed a friend. It was a great buy. The animation is excellent and realistic (walks, barks, pants, whines, and wiggles it's tail). Good size. This would be a great toy for a small child that loves dogs. The two button remote control is really easy to use, perfect for small hands. Cute toy!

    Its a unicorn and that too walking, what else my child ask for. She is super happy to get this walking pet toy. I like the soft plush toy material, its comfy for kids. The unicorn is cute looking and us well made. Though the price seem to be less but the quality is not. It beats a plush toy that is double the price of it. Things that I about this toy is that it walks and can walk continuosly with press of the button. Unicorn also comes with walking sound and other sounds including neigh! Remote is wired but is soft and rounded; so good for the tiny hands with thin skin. All good about this toy makes it a highly recommended toy !

    Fun Walking Unicorn Toy
    My daughter loves anything and everything unicorn, so I knew that she would have fun with this Kid Connection unicorn toy. It is soft and beautifully colored with adorable eyelashes. She walks, snorts/neighs, and wags its tail via a remote controlled leash with 2 easy-to-use buttons. The leash is non-removable, so it won't get lost and the toy can either be put into "demo" mode where it moves or wags its tail twice and then stops on its own (until you push the button again) or in "on" mode where it keeps going and going until you push the button again to stop. My daughter actual prefers the "demo" mode, which is much easier on the ears as a parent; especially since our dog goes crazy every time she pushes a button. The only things I would note are that the head does not do any movement (which would have been really cool) and it does take a lot of batteries (in both the toy and the remote control). Overall though a very cute toy that any unicorn fan over the age of 3 would love.

    The best gift for a child
    If you are in doubt about gifting this to a child anywhere between 1-9 years old then id say go for it. My kids are 2 and 8 and they fight over this toy. Thats how much they like it. We dont have pets and this is GREAT for kids who keep asking for one haha. I know it will never be a replacement for a real pet but for the time being it does the trick for us. We've had it for several weeks now and they still play with it. It has an extended walking stick that makes it easy for them to walk the dog. I bought another one so that they can play without fighting. I think its a great gift for a birthday or kids who keep asking for a dog but whose parents are not quite ready for one yet.

    The Kid Connection Walking Pet, Poodle is the cutest toy dog. I have purchased several different toy puppies over the last year, and this one is the best one yet! I love the body because it is firm but covered with smooth material that reminds me of a closely shaven puppy. The poodle is about 10 inches tall from the feet to the top of the head, and about 10 inches long from the base of the tale to the tip of the nose. The attached leash is made from a thick rubber like material, and it is about 24 inches long from the place where it connects to the poodle to the handle of the leash. The leash has two buttons that operates the poodle. There is an on and off switch on the underside of the poodle. I was happy to discover that the poodle is able to walk on carpet. My carpet is not plush, but the poodle can walk on the carpet and the hard wood without difficulty. I think it is the cutest thing to see her cross off the carpet on to the hardwood and back again, which she can do without a struggle. Her walk is not fast but steady. If there is one thing that I think is worth pointing out, this is a loud toy. The poodle barks and makes other noises the entire time that she is activated. Therefore, if you do not like kids play noise, this is not a toy for your kid.

    It is in great happiness; do I submit this recommendation for the, “Kid Connection Walking Pet, Unicorn.” It is an very pretty animated toy with a wonderful recorded sound track, that when you press the left button key it mimic's a horse neighing and the shaking of the its tale. While the right hand key allows the Unicorn to walk with ease. This is a lovely fun animated walking Unicorn that can walk for several hours on the energy of the 3AA batteries. In so doing, bring joy in the life of your child's and in their imagination. The Unicorn come well wrapped and secured to the housing container, with the 3 AA batteries included. The batteries are housed in the belly of the Unicorn. You will need a small Philip's head screw driver to open the chamber. The on and off switch is not located in the same place where you would remove the chamber opening, which is a great safety feature for the curious children when they investigate how the Unicorn works. The screw is a small one and could be a hassle to locate when lost, thus, Kid Connection, solved this problem by placing a small raised ring around the screw so that it will not come out of the housing bed. The only difficulty that I experience was relining the screw back in the hole. The slot kept popping out and had to reline both slot and pushing on the screw to align with the hole. Once the alignment was made the screw went right in the socked and I was able to recrew the chamber together. I would highly recommend this animated toy from Kid Connection.

    This walking pet puppy by Kid Connection arrived just in time for our 2 year daughter as she was getting bored with some of the old toys. It's nice seeing a child play with a new toy with that look of excitement and curiosity. Surprisingly it comes with batteries that were included and already inserted. The fur coat is very soft and great for cuddles and snuggles. The leash with remote is at adequate length for young kids, and looks to be built well for kids to pull it along as they do. There are two buttons on the remote where one makes the fur pup walk but it's more like a trot, the other button makes it wag it's itty bitty tail. It's great for child development and getting them to use their imagination. Our little one loves our neighbors dogs, so we knew she would take a liking to this little furry pet toy. At the moment, she is getting lots of play with the furry pet. Overall, this is great for little kids that don't have pets yet. Maybe a good way to gauge as to how they would react. Obviously nothing like the real thing, but it's a start to develop their interactions. Highly recommended.

    My 7 year old daughter loves unicorns so this was an easy choice for her out of all the walking pets they had. She absolutely loves this toy. It was easy to use straight out of the box. Since I am used to electronic toys I did turn it over to find and turn it off of demo mode as soon as I got it out of the box. I did discover though that once you hit the walk button or the tail button if you did want it to stop you did have to press the button again. My daughter has hauled this around the house with her and even out to the trampoline with her.
