buckle is plastic
The HAMPTON PRODUCTS-KEEPER Light Duty Lashing I ordered from Bic
Warehouse in Dec 2015 came with plastic buckles, not metal as depicted
in the photo. The packaging says made in China, UPC 51643 85207.
Nothing on the packaging speaks to UV resistance of the plastic buckle.
Perhaps the metal buckle is a previous model, for that is what I had
purchased previously.
