BURNS & ITCHES GONE!
I have been using this for years and I have to say that I am more and more impressed with it the more I use it. I burn myself often when cooking, and putting cold water or ice on the burns just eases the pain temporarily. Jergens Ultra Healing removes the burn permanently with just one use. You can't even tell I burned myself when you look at it most of the time. I haven't had a blister or a burn mark since I started using it. I also get very itchy skin from dry skin and allergies and this lotion is amazing then too. I use the lotion instead of scratching and it takes away the itching almost immediately. I always carry it in my purse or tote and I have a pump bottle everywhere in my house, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and on my desk.

Why did Jergens change the formula ?
I read through some reviews and I'm happy to see I'm not the only experienced Jergen's lotion user to notice a change in effectiveness from the old to the new formula. I too have been a loyal Jergens lotion user for over 25 years now and when I bought the new ultra healing formula I noticed a difference. Hands went dry in about 5 minutes. I have to keep re-applying but this was not the case with the old formula. I appended a photo of the old vs the new. I read through the ingredients of the old, also appended and compared to the new. I have now started searching for a lotion that works as Jergens used to. To Jergen's competitors... Copy the old formula and create your own "new" brand. Advertise it and watch how many consumers start using your product if Jergens won't go back to the old. I presume the idea of "more applications" is best for sales but not if consumers search elsewhere. P.S - I don't put much emphasis on reviews from consumers who never knew the old formula. Here are the ingredients of the advertised new Ultra Healing vs Jergen's old Ultra Care formulas. Ultra Healing : New INGREDIENTS: WATER, GLYCERIN, CETEARYL ALCOHOL, PETROLATUM, STEARIC ACID, C12-15 ALKYL BENZOATE, ALUMINUM STARCH OCTENYLSUCCINATE, DIMETHICONE, LAURETH-3, CETEARETH-20, DMDM HYDANTOIN, ALLANTOIN, METHYLPARABEN, ARGININE, SODIUM HYDROXIDE, PROPYLPARABEN, CARBOMER, FRAGRANCE, PANTHENOL, PENTYLENE GLYCOL, LECITHIN, ALCOHOL, ASCORBYL PALMITATE, TOCOPHEROL.     Smells great. Not to potent of a smell but you can definitely smell it when putting it on. Slightly on the thicker side but absorbs quickly and it leaves my skin soft. I have a bottle of this on my desk at work because my hands are so dried out from using hand sanitizer and washing them all day. This lotion definitely helps and I would certainly purchase it again.

    I wish all companies had this bottle
    The lotion itself goes on somewhat greasy but otherwise is acceptable. My real reason for writing this review is to praise the bottle! And the pump! I use a lot of lotion and have used many brands. With every other brand, there comes a point, when the lotion level gets low enough, that the pump stops working. This means a period of time during which I have to prop the bottle upside down to allow all of the lotion to go the bottom (which is the top of the bottle), unscrew the cap when I want lotion, and shake it into my hand. Not with Jergens! The pump pumped every last bit out. And I bought this bottle of Jergens because I happened to be low on funds and it was the least expensive choice. Jergens should teach its bottle technology to brands which charge more. Well, not really, why help out a competitor, lol. Great bottle, Jergens.

    It works and it'll work for you too.
    I work at Walmart and my hands get so dry from handling freight, being in cold temps, and washing my hands often. I've tried very expensive moisturizers to no avail. Tried this out and could not believe how well it works. I haven't seen my hands look so normal in a long long time. Best $4 I've spent in a long time.

    Great SkinCare Product For Aging Skin
    I have been using This lotion for on my body for months now. I had never thought to use it on my face for my wrinkle and skin cream- I'm sooo glad I did! I'm over 40, but especially after using Jergens Ultra Healing on my face, I've noticed plumper, smoother, softer skin and my eye wrinkles have diminished also! My face feels soft and even my skin tone evens out some after I apply it. I use it before I put on my makeup. I no longer use any night creams or eye cream, only Jergens Ultra Healing. People never believe me when I tell them I'm over 40- Ive told my friends, and ill tell you, TRY IT! You will be surprised- I dont know why you guys haven't started a skin regimen for wrinkles and improving skin texture..because out of everything I've used thats Expensive, Jergens works 10 times better!

    Ultra moisturizing bath
    I received a free sample of JERGENS BATH AND SHOWER WET MOISTURIZER, and I loved it! Almost always, when I would get out of the shower my skin would be so dry after toweling off, until I put on moisturizing creams, Jergens came up with this new product moisturizer on wet skin and it works. Saves time, and money because I'm not paying high end prices for beautiful soft skin. Jergens has been around for many years, I trust the tried and true. And with all the new ideas in lotions, who better to trust than Jergens.

    Really hydrates
    I received this product free in exchange for my honest review. I took the 1 Week to Gorgeous challenge and I really think it made a difference in my skin. When the cold rolls in this time of year so does the dry air and dry skin. I get really really bad chapped, dry skin. The new Jergens formula really made my hands and feet feel great, trumped whatever other lotions I was using. Plus it has a nice light smell and doesn't leave your hands feeling greasy. I really liked it and will be getting it again.

    Good for sensitive skin!
    I'm leary about applying anything to my face. This lotion is the only one I have tested that leaves my face soft and moisturized, without irritation.
