Be prepared to be surprised in a good way!
Hi I have always been impressed by JVC tvs for their picture quality. I do AV for a living. I was very wary of the TV from the reviews but said what the heck its less than half the price of another tv it replaced.
I had it delivered yesterday I was concerned seeing some of the djngs on ghe box but ghe TV was well protected. Opened it up no damage put the feet on the TV. Plugged it in and connected the TV to my network. All pretty straight forward .
Im feeding the TV with AppleTV, image is clean and looks great. I played with the volume and was not impressed, it was breaking up, - until I started
In on the Audio Menu! It has multiple standard settings and you can custom adjust bass trebble 120 500 1.5k 5k ans 10k!
Volume can go much higher, clean sounds great and is a steal for $400! Those people that didnt take the time to work with the menu, you missed out on a heck of a buy! Awesome TV for an awesome price!

Extremely dissatisfied
Horrible Experience...ordered 65" JVC TV...box was damaged in the corner of the box...opened it...transported to my basement to eventually set up. Upon opening box after careful inspection...saw that the TV screen had over twenty deep scratches in the screen underneath the laminate packing protector which ONLY could happen upon production and packing the item before placement in box.

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser04/29/2021First one lasted a year... but had Insurance on itFirst one was not smart just plain 65" 4k, I had insurance and this was what they gave me this smart 65" 4k "free" as a replacement which I have been very happy with so far! No issues besides sound or speakers on TV seem very low quality sound great picture. You get what you pay for I am glad I purchased the 2 or 3 years of insurance on it.David

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/08/2019Dont purchase, this is terribleI purchased this TV. When we picked it up the screen was crazy led. Returned it to store. Store re-ordered a replacement. Picked up today. Got it home and unboxed, and the screen was broken again. I would give it no stars, but you can't leave a review without at least one star.Adair

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/17/2019low qualityPurchased on 11/16/18. On 2/17/19 the picture went out while a watching a tv show, but you could still hear the sound fine. Shut tv off and reset everything, checked all HDMI plugs. Everything secure. TV turns on, but still no picture, all blue screen, and sound comes through fine. Purchased 4 year warranty which isn't helpful as TV is still covered under manufacturers warranty. Reaching someone at the JVC customer service center is next to impossible. The picture prior to the malfunction was great, however sound is not, but we hooked up a surround sound system so the sound quality wasn't a big issue. I would probably recommend spending a little extra and purchasing a better name brand model.Kat

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/04/2019No digital optical output or surround sound compatThis TV does not have the digital optical output as advertised and is not compatible with 5.1 surround sound systems and the onboard sound is awful. In addition, the manual consists of a single piece of paper. So the real manual is probably online, right? Nope. Nothing online and you have to email customer service to get any info. Picture is very nice, so it would be ok for a bar or a monitor that doesn't need sound. Going back.kherb
