I was afraid that it was going to be one of those cheap sounding ones, because of the price. But it sounds great perfect for my desk. I love it. It would make a perfect gift except you would have to buy two one to keep and one for a gift.

Coming apart at the side upon receiving the unit
Came with a seam not put together. Had to tape it shut before I even used it for a trip. Not returnable since I was stupid and bought a warranty on it. Appears like it is not available for replacement?

    Have had this product for months now. If you are looking for a simple radio/cd player, it will work. I was disappointed in the very poor sound quality

    5 star.. for box it came in
    i was excited to receive this and also received a new CD at the same time. Excitement quickly changed to , well lets just say disgust. Does anybody plug these in to see if they work? Well, mine doesnt and now what a headache for an old guy like me who lives alone way out in the country to get my credit back. If I can say.... guess I cant , had to edit lol . Dont buy this or do at a risk. First piece of junk Ive ever ordered online.

    Great buy.
    I love this portable player. The sound quality of the cassettes is great. Have not tried the radio or CD player yet but I expect the same sound quality. I like the fact that it is not huge small enough to carry around if I want looking forward to listening to it this spring when I am doing yard work. would highly recommend this portable player. Great price too.

    Battery Function Failed
    The player I received worked fine on its electrical cord. But the whole point of a portable player is portability, and the battery function didn't work. And then to add insult to injury, even though it wouldn't play on batteries, the battery function still drained my batteries when it wasn't plugged in. I hadn't figured out how to tunn it "off," and didn't know I needed to, so I had to buy a second set of batteries for the replacement player. I upgraded to a Sony and much prefer its digital radio dial and intuitive digital switches.

    GREAT LITTLE PRODUCT
    THE SOUND QUALITY IS AMAZINGLY GOOD. IT IS A NICE COMPACT SIZE. IT ONLY TAKES ONE CD AT A TIME AND THERE IS NOT PROBLEM LOADING IT. THE ONLY CRITICISM IS THE NUMBERS ON THE RADIO DIAL ARE VERY SMALL AND HARD TO SEE. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

    Not a good experience
    I purchased this item because I could play cassettes as well. The very first cassette I put in got tangled and luckily I was able to rescue it. The very second cassette I put in got destroyed. It was not only tangled but also broke off without my help. This item is clearly defective and I need to return it. Perhaps it is an isolated incident but these items should be checked prior to shipping.

    Not what I expected
    Purchased to use in my shed for a little music. The volume is way too low even at its highest point. The numbers for the radio stations are located on the small dial that is used to locate the desired station. They are small and extremely hard to see. If you want to change stations, you have to pick up the radio to be able to see what station you are changing to. Okay for a younger child though, I guess.
