5-Piece Carbon Steel Hole Saw Set with Arbor
The 5-Piece Carbon Steel Hole Saw Set with Arbor is a medium weight steel material, hole saw for use of wood. I bought it specifically for cutting lockset holes in wood doors. This application worked perfectly and this set of saws will come in handy in the future. Since they are carbon steel, storage should be in a low humidity environment or sealed plastic bag. Great product for my use and recommended good quality.

Regular hole saw
My husband made these holes in a 1/2" plywood, using the same drill/driver. The two holes to the right were made with these set. It was difficult, it is like that they are not sharpened enough. To finish the hole was necessary to turn the wood and finished from the other side. The hole in the left was made with a spade bit, and was much easier and faster (from the back side look uglier though). So, depends on what kind of work you are doing... The holes have a nice finishing, but it will require more work from you and your drill.

    Did the job well
I'm remodeling my home and I bought 3 new entry doors relatively inexpensive, but the only drawback was I had to drill out the knob holes. I'm a DIYer so buying a $40 set was not an option for me so I thought I would give these a try. There were times I didn't know if I was going to get the last door done because the teeth were wore down. I completed the 3 doors and for the money I would say that's fabulous. Professionals can buy their high end tools but if your like me this set is perfect.

    Wow—a set!
Over the past few years, we have come to realize how valuable a variety of hole saws can be. We have remodeled our home and built several pieces of furniture, and there have been times when a hole saw was absolutely critical to the task at hand. We have purchased a few individually, and were excited to see a set with a variety of sizes included. We used the largest size to drill a neat hole into the back of a buffet now used for an entertainment center, and these worked as well as much more expensive pieces we have used in the past. This is a welcome addition to our tool box!

    Decent Quality Hole saw
This hole saw is pretty nice. Fairly decent build. Did not come with a hex wrench to tighten the arbor. But once I tightened that I was able to cut a few holes. It did smoke up a bit while drilling the holes in a 1x6 rough cut piece of lumber. Overall still good when you only need a few holes. For the home DIYer.

    Decent Inexpensive Set
This is a decent inexpensive hole saw set. It works fine for occasional use. It cuts through plywood well enough for my minor home projects. Good addition to my tool bag. No complaints.

    Worked perfectly. Very sharp.
I have a bookcase headboard that I wanted to put a surge protector through the backing above a shelf so the cords would hang behind it. The backing was a heavy cardboard type material. I was afraid these wouldn't do a clean cut. I used the size that allowed the plug through. It cut clean and fast. I'm very pleased! Having a set with four different sizes should take care of any jobs I'll need in the future too!

    Inexpensive yet effective
This set is a very inexpensive yet somewhat effective for soft woods. I would not recommend for repetitive hardwood use. Overall I am satisfied with the set.

    nothing l i ke a new blade
my hyper tough 5 pc carbon steel hole saw set with arbor, cuts like a dream. there is nothing like a new blade to get the job done quickly and more cleaner , than using an old wore out or rusted one, that takes forever to cut through. this hole saw cuts through cleanly and quickly and wont cause a back flow that could cause you arm damage.
