Great bike - assembly tips in review
You'll need the allen wrench that's a bit thicker than the typical Ikea allen wrenches (5 or 6 mm) - the other tools are pretty common. The trickiest part of assembly is to remove one of the brake shoes so you can pop in the front wheel (don't loosen the front brake line). Once that's done, put the brake shoe back on and spin the front wheel before securing it in (adjust it so that it doesn't rub the break pads that much). One thing that was not in the instructions is that the hand brake levers were pointed down instead of forward at least for me (which makes it hard to reach the levers) - I wasn't able to loosen the bolts that tighten the handlebar to adjust it - if that's the case, you'll need to loosen one of the screws near the brake lever (with the allen wrench) to adjust it - on the left handle, you can just pull the lever up. on right handle, the gear selector is in the way so you have to turn the lever all the way around.

The picture shows the front of the bike having shocks and ours does not have that in the assembly parts. The box was delivered opened on both ends as well. Very disappointed at that from the delivery party.

    Poor design, too small
    Very poorly designed handlebars. Size is not accurate, not 24" from center of sprocket to seat. Returned the next day. Very sad 9 year old who worked and saved up for a mountain bike.

    Total junk!
    This bike out of the box although looks nice has severe issues with the chain falling off. This is really a design flaw I believe with the derailleur. I've went through the instructions six times trying to address the derailleur in rear wheel to no avail, chain keeps falling off when switching gears or pedaling backwards comes off on the front sprocket! Complete garbage.

    good build
    Run smooth, quality build, feel better than some of BCA. structure design is fair though. Recommand pump it 40psi for speed. Seatpost size looks 28.6mm if you wanna change a longer post. Good suspension, accurate chain railing.

    After less than two months of riding the gears weren't working right and the chain kept jumping off when in 1st gear. After some at home attempted repair the next day the gear cable disconnected and now the gears don't work at all. It was a good enough bike while it lasted but overall it's pretty much junk. Buy something else.

    WASTE OF MONEY
    I ordered this for my son and he was so excited his first mountain bike and the first time he rides it the chain falls off. Now every time he rides it the chains comes off. This was the worst birthday gift ever. I thought after all the good reviews it would be ok to go a little cheap but nope I was wrong!
