Best brand
Hot Hands brand is the best brand we've used of all the hand warmers. They get warmer and stay warmer. Best use practice - open and shake at least 15-20 minutes before you use them in a glove/boot. If they stop feeling warm - take them out and re expose them to the open air. There is a chemical reaction that creates the heat that can't happen when immediately put into a glove or pocket.

    HotHands Hand Warmers
Wonderful product to keep your hands warm all day if you wish. I walk with walker or Nordic Poles and my fingers used to turn purple and I lost feeling in them. NO MORE thanks to the Hand Warmers. So easy to order with Walmart and even have it delivered home. Thank you Walmart :)

    Cold Hurts
My family and I are out door people. We hunt, fish and have outdoor family time even in cold weather. We have been using Hot Hands for years. We keep these in our glove compartments, in our cold weather coats and even in out fishing tackle boxes. Even if you aren't and an outdoors person its a good idea to keep some in your vehicle's glove compartments and in your winter coats.

Surprising benefit from these hand warmers
As a chemo patient, my feet often had poor circulation especially at night. Cold. I discovered these handy hand warmers worked perfectly, bringing comfort and warmth when used. I can extrapolate from that, they would be welcome on cold days by those needing some hand warmth. Small. lightweight and compact. Easily squeezed to engage warming which lasted for hours. Never too warm. For those interested in how I used them at night: I inserted them into those tissue-like blue hospital booties worn over shoes. Once feet warmed, I could easily slip them off and leave them at the foot of the bed for all-night warming. During the day they worked equally as well when warmer and bootie were in my slippers while sitting. Of course, booties not essential I just had them available. Use what you have. I checked prices before purchasing from Walmart. Thank you, W!

    Works great.
We bought these for a recent snowmobile trip at Yellowstone Park. Morning temp were in the -20F with a trip high of 7F. These worked great as hand warmers and we're also used to clean ice off helmet visor and keep face warm inside face mask. People put them inside clothing where ever heat was needed. Worked well and allowed us to see some spectacular scenery.

HotHands are the way to go
These little things are really useful. They don't have a consistent heat temp if you're holding onto them all the time but there's a good amount of warmth. Now if you leave them sitting for a good 1-2 minutes they get so hot I feel like they could burn my hands. Walmart sells them the cheapest compares to HomeDepot/Amazon/Lowes. If you live in cold places these are super useful. If you live in warm places they could still help warm your hands, feet, and cramps! Sometimes too.

Very small, very warm, last four good hours.
These are fine for putting one in a child's coat pocket. But they were a lot smaller than the hand warmers that we had bought in previous years. Plan to use three or four per pocket. We used them a few mornings ago and found that just a couple were not enough to keep your hands warm in 30 degree cold. The good, about the size, is one packet was nearly unnoticeable, to my daughter, in her boot. She complained after a couple of hours that her feet were getting really cold, so plan on using two for that also. A tip that I have found, is to place hand warmers in a sandwich bag before putting into my daughter's boot. This keeps the iron oxide from getting everywhere when it busts open while they are walking. The good is that these lasted the full four hours of our morning hunt.

    Stays warm for hours!!!
I would recommend these hand warmers because they really do work. I had the opportunity to put these to the test during our two recent Polar Vortex's'...(that's what they call it now; I thought it was just called winter) and they really kept my hands warm. Without these in my gloves my fingers were painfully cold and I had to go inside about every 30 minutes, after I put these in my gloves I was out in below zero temps hours at a time!
