Good price for a needed filter
This filter is required for my Honeywell air purifier. It was not easy to find the correct size, I'm glad I found it at Walmart for a good price.

DON'T buy. Substandard materials not like original
Stay away from this replacement carbon filter. It's nothing like the original that came with your new purifier. When I took it out of the package, loose residue from the filter came out all over my bedspread. If it falls out on the bedspread it's going to be in the air (your lungs) if you use it. The density and quality of this carbon is inferior and not acceptable. I'm returning it.

    wonder if this was not genuine?
    very thin, can totally see through. many spots of brown powder. didn't smell good in the air purifier. had to return. worse than A filter. They used to be good.

    Honeywell does not make single hepa filter this goes with...so returning both this and the hepa air cleaner!

    Handy, Reliable filter replacement
    makes it easy to cut, and install, new filter at three month recommended replacement. Old filter is covered with a white deposit after continues use. Secondary filter still looks clean. The paper cutting guide makes it easy to maintain replacement filter detentions. Filter run at lowest speed to increase efficiency. Seems to be working.

    Not the Same as the Original
    I bought the "official" Honeywell A replacement pre-filter. It's definitely not the same quality as the original one that came with the unit. It's thin and flimsy (see attached pics), and you can see right through it. I imagine a lot more dust will be reaching the HEPA filters. During the 3 month duration that you're supposed to use it, I would periodically take the pre-filter out and vacuum it off. This new one won't hold up to that. It also shed a lot of charcoal dust on my floor when I laid it out the cut to size (again, pics). Not well done Honeywell, very disappointed, especially for the price. I guess I'll be trying the generic filters next time and save myself some money.

    Buy at Walmart
    It works well to collect dust and airborne things. I had looked in stores and online to replace the pre-filter on my Honeywell, and had doubts or didn't like the prices. This order from Walmart came in a timely manner and was reasonably priced. I do wish it was pre-cut, and that the box would say which side goes in (the totally black side, or the slightly speckled side).

    replacement prefilter for Honeywell air purifier
    Very good replacement prefilter. Works as it should, not like the cheaper alternative. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the cost. We used to get 3 of these in a box for under ten dollars.
