Quiet operation
I leave it running 24/7 on level two. It is quiet enough to blend into the background and not be disruptive. The filter is easy to access in order to replace and the indicator light is a nice touch. As long as it stays this quiet I will have no problem leaving this product running until it is obsolete or finally breaks. Would definitely recommend this air purifier to a friend with a dusty house. My only gripe is the filter indicator light makes a pretty good night light. If you are used to sleeping in a dark room you might want to cover it up or you will have trouble falling asleep. I paid 19.99 for two for the last few I got but it's worth it as I prefer buying in person vs. waiting on a delivery. I have two Holmes air purifiers I bought about 2 to 3 years ago and they work just fine, do the job they're supposed to do!Gail

We live in Texas and I think, here is Allergy season all year round. We got diagnosed in December 2017 and this Spring I believe its worst with Pollen and so. I noticed him breathing harder in the night and always wakes up with stuffed nose. So I bought a Airfilter this year and using it in the kids room only, turned on stage 2 all day and after a month, I was shocked when I changed the first filter. Incredible how much dust, and more is in the air. Since then my son has less problems and I would definitely recommend aer1® HAPF300AH True HEPA Allergen Remover Replacement Filter.Unknown

Customer service was quick and very helpful in helping me find the new filters that my model had changed to. Having a Holmes air purifier had made a huge difference in my life. I battle allergies all year and breathing issues because of the allergies, and the air purifier has allowed me freedom to breath better and allowed me to bring pets back into my life. My model is currently 5-6 years old and it is still in excellent condition. It is a great product and I would recommend Holmes to anyone considering an air purifier.LadyLeslie

It was a slightly different style then, but has always used the same filters. Over the years we bought more of the same model to use in bedrooms and our living room. They seem to work well even in rooms up to 400 sq. ft. Now that our son has gone away to college he uses them in his apartment, therefore we had to buy more to replace the ones he took with him. They do a great job of keeping sinuses and lungs clean. Quiet enough to use in bedrooms on low or medium, but still not too loud on high. New filters are reasonably priced when bought online. I have found that Holmes sells the filters a bit cheaper than retail stores ... or some of the retail stores do not carry such. I use these, also the pet dander, and the odor filters.
