Great unit for limited space.
Nice little bookcase. We are elderly and hubby was able to put it together and little time and it's still standing :-)

Ok but could be a lot better
Let me start by saying this isn't terrible for the price. It is sturdy and holds books just fine. However, there is plenty of things that could be better and shown more clearly in the pictures. Bottom of the bookcase's sides were damaged (smashed particleboard) which is exposed due to veneer peeling/chipping away. One screw included had no threads so I had to use a drywall screw. The screws included are meant to be countersunk but the holes are not. You are left with unsightly screw heads that protrude out of the side of the bookcase. The pictures show a nice solid wood side, not screws everywhere. I can only post 2 pictures so you'll have to take my word on the busted corners and how far the screws stick out the side (even when tightened).

    Decent little narrow bookshelf.
    Was easy to assemble. Had a chip on one but it was in the back corner and not seen once put together. The edges were slightly rubbed and one precut guide was a little crooked and it took a little bit to align but eventually we got it. After all was said and done, it is serving its purpose as a center part of a corner collection of bookshelves. Is about 5 feet tall and a foot wide.

    Disappointed in the quality.
    For the price, I expected better. The package arrived having been opened and resealed. FedEx took it back and brought the exact same package back the next day! (I wish there were a place to review the shipping choices for Walmart, but that's another review.) Several of the shelves had sections of the particleboard broken at the place where the back panel inserts into the shelf (see photo). These were the shelves that were still inside the Styrofoam padding! The screws did not tighten down flush to the surface and stick out about 1/8 inch. I compensated for some of the design deficiencies by gluing the shelves to the uprights and the panels in place on the shelves. Not a bad looking shelf, but I would expect for nearly $50 it would not have arrived with broken pieces.

    Very cheaply made, however, for the price it is a good deal and will last me a long time due to it not needed for heavy usage. It was simple to assemble and looks good in my bedroom!

    Perfect for a corner spot.....
    Perfect. It was just what I needed. Not too large and extremely easy to put together. I used it for a corner spot in y bedroom. I would recommend this product.

    I just got done putting my shelves together (I ordered two) they were very easy to put together alone. the downfall of these shelves.... the screws do not screw in all the way so the GOLD screws stick out on the sides, in my opinion they should have made pockets for the screws to fit into and should have supplied the screw covers to match the color of the shelf. alittle damage to the shelves but other then that pretty decent for the price. a tad wobbly on carpet.. picture shows screws and how the whole front looks all the way around

    I Love It!!!
    I love this bookcase! The instructions were very simple and easy to read. Each piece is labeled with a sticker with a number on it that matches the instructions. It comes with all of the hardware needed to assemble. It's very lightweight when 2 people pick it up. The black finish looks very classy, and looks great in my bedroom. I was able to assemble this by myself (and I'm not even a handy-man type of person). I love it!!!
