Bright and sharp
The Monitor is 1920x1080 as a default, but the monitor being 24," the text is large enough and the icons are sharp and clear. Other resolutions are fuzzier than the default, which is to be expected. The colors are vibrant, and match the colors on my HP laptop - which surprised me. It has inputs for HDMI, VGA, and DVI. I'm using the HDMI. Switching between my laptop resolution and this external monitor is automatic and instant. The price couldn't be beat.

Newly made antiques
No DisplayPort. It was manufactured in the new millennium. Buying this monitor was like buying a new car, then finding out it doesn't have seatbelts. These are things that you don't even ask about, as it's just standard. Anyways, it works, but it's ridiculous.

Screen went blank & stopped working
The screen randomly stopped working for me. I did not make changes to it in any way, the screen just went blank and now will not turn. I am not sure what is wrong with the product but it is no longer useable.

    Nice light and simple
It's a good monitor. Won't blow your socks off but it'll turn your frown upside down. Scout's honor. They ship these with a VGA cable of all things, who uses those anymore?! Buy a HDMI cable and toss the garbage VGA.

Great monitor at a great value!
I purchased this monitor to work as a dual monitor with my hp laptop. I didn't need anything fancy, and this monitor seemed like a great deal, so I purchased it. It was delivered on time, and when I unboxed it, it was much bigger than I expected. In fact, I contemplated returning it because it is so big, but I figured I needed to adjust to it (my previous monitor was a 20xi - much smaller). Now I love this thing! I can fit a lot on one screen, and it helps not having to look from side to side when comparing spreadsheets, everything is right there and easy to read. I have noticed less neck and eye strain even though I am on the computer much longer than before. This was a great addition to my home office! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    Poor Power Connection
The power connection on this monitor is loose. Any movement of the monitor (even just bumping the table) results in it losing power. It takes a good minute or two of jiggling the cord trying to get the angle just right to restore the power. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    DON"T PURCHASE
The power cord that connects to the back of the monitor is loose. If u bump the cord the screen goes out and you have to wiggle the cord to find the right position for it to come back on. YES I did verify that the cord is plugged in all the way. So I just have to hope and pray that when I try to position the monitor again that the screen will stay on. Let's just say it doesn't. I very unhappy with the monitor [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Came equiped with a bulky D-Dub Miniature Cable!
This monitor is equipped with a D-Sub Miniature Cable popular in 1990. Of the multiple HP computers I've bought, not 1 is equipped with the D-Sub receptacle. I had to buy the appropriate HDMI cable and wait 5 more days to receive. The option of which cable the monitor will be used with should have been an option during check-out. Great screen, once I got a new cable...
I have been using the monitor as a second screen. Great for editing spreadsheets and documents. The monitor started to occasionally blink randomly. I thought it might be my docking station and swapped the hdmi cable with a vga cable. Ended up the hdmi cable was bad. Bought another hdmi cable and has been great since.
