Hot coffee, convenient. Worth the money.
Great machine for the money. Looks nice and makes very hot beverages. Only take a minute or two. It is lightweight with a small footprint. Takes up less space on my countertop.

Broken and Gross
Got this machine 3 months ago and it broke today. In the attempt of fixing it I opened it and what I found was so gross! I never left water on it but the container were the water heater is held was so nasty, covered in a gross build up of what looked like a white glossy dirt. The picture is after I cleaned it... but after all my effort the machine still doesnt work.

    Coffee and water spitting out from every direction
    It looks nice but it does not function well. The water starts to seep out from the front of the coffee maker and it doesn't go into the cup. Water is spouting from every direction and you are left with only 1/2 cup of coffee when you pour in a whole cup of water to start with. The rest of the coffee ends up in the drain or on your counter. Great design concept but doesn't work in reality.

    i love how quick it makes coffee and the fact that i can make just a cup as im the only one who drinks coffee, my only complaint....is it says you can control the brew strength but the button seems to be broken or not work not sure which. In the long run it doesn't matter as much as i thought it would.

    It can not bring all of coffee flavor out.
    I bought it because I like the fact that it says "stainless steel". Majority of parts are indeed made of stainless steel. However, not all of coffee flavor can come out with this coffee maker. "Bold" feature of this coffee maker is not bold at all, even for dark roast. By the water container is made of plastic.

    This DOES NOT COME WITH THE PRETTY MUG! As far as stainless is concerned, there may be a few part. but stainless finish on plastic. Looks great, though! Other than the negatives, it works great! The 2 settings are something to experiment with. The regular setting is straight

    Simple, great price and a wonderful cup of coffee
    In my quest to find the best single serve coffee maker I have finally found the one. If you want the freedom of using your own ground coffee and you know what a good cup of coffee tastes like then The Scoop by Hamilton Beach is the only right answer. All I want is to make a good cup of coffee with minimal hassle

    LOVE This Coffee Maker - Just For Me!
    This is a very well thought out coffee maker. EASY as can be and makes a fine cup of coffee. I suggest using BOLD feature. Before using, be sure to run water through it a few times.

    Perfect cup of coffee
    After years of morning pour overs I thought Id give a try to a single cup machine and this did not disappoint. Im extremely happy with how the bold setting brews the perfect cup for me. Ease of use is a big plus with nice space for water and the double filter system keeps the sludge out of the cup. The final brewed coffee has the perfect drinking temperature and cleanup is a breeze especially for people with larger hands which means no more fumbling with anything. Money well spent here and I highly recommend it.
