I love it and use it every day. Sometimes twice a day. Fits nicely on my counter. It works very well. I use it for smoothies rigjt now. I'll try something else later. Also , easy to dis-assemble and clean! I will be ordering 2 additional blenders for my daughters.

DO NOT BUY
The blender came broken. I can not turn off the blender no matter what because the off button is defective. I have to constantly unplug the blender for it to stop spinning. This is a safety issue.

    Amazing quality! Perfect for breakfast or a snack
    I love this smoothie blender -- it is such good quality, seems very durable, and easy to clean. I regularly make smoothies and I can safely say that this smoothie blender makes creamy, delicious smoothies. I also really like that it is dishwasher safe. So far, I haven't tried making a milkshake yet.

    I made a smoothie using frozen whole strawberries & it blended them completely. I like that the blade is attached to the blender and I don't have to take it apart to clean it. To clean it, I rinsed it out afterwards. I then added a drop of dish soap along with some warm water and then turned the blender on. It works like a charm. This is my second time owning this exact blender. The first time it got knocked from a high place and broke so there was nothing wrong with the first one. I would definitely recommend for smoothies and surely plan on seeing what other things I can use it for. If it can blend frozen strawberries I'm sure I won't have issues blending fresh fruit and veggies.

    Lightweight Powerful Smoothie Blender
    My Hamilton Beach Smoothie Blender arrived with a somewhat minimal user manual but fortunately it is quite easy to intuit and use the blender. It certainly has all the modes I need to use for the main purpose of making smoothies and fruit and vegetable drinks. My first concoction was a smoothie with yogurt, almond milk, fresh blueberries, fresh peaches (love this time of year with all fresh fruits), ice and guar gum fiber powder. I used the smoothie power setting high and then low after I had to add the fiber powder which thanks to the removable filler cap, I was able to just place in mixing jar without having to remove whole lid. One reason I wanted this blender was due to its light weight. Indeed, it is easy to move without putting stress on your wrist or arm. It certainly is powerful (although a little loud) enough for any purpose I would have for it. The ice on top was drawn downward as advertised with the strong stainless-steel blades and the whole pieces of peach and blueberries all mixed quickly and smoothly. I found the pour spout a little sluggish so I took the top off and poured the mixture into a glass much more quickly without any dripping, I wish they had included more information on how to use the various settings with information in the box but recipes can be obtained online. All in all, Hamilton Beach delivered all that I wanted in a blender that is reasonably priced, portable, powerful, and easy to clean.

    Basic everyday blender
    The blender is powerful. Ice and frozen fruit are crushed quickly with this machine. Even though the jar is made of plastic, it is sturdy and easy to clean. It has an open top to insert whatever you are blending. So far, I've used it for ice cream and smoothies. As well as being sturdy, the base is also non-slip. It is a blender I use daily to make smoothies.

    Great little appliance
    A must have in all kitchens. We received this blender about a week ago and find it very versatile for many chores in the kitchen. From chopping to blending to creating our favorite smoothies ( photos attached) this appliance can do it all! Easy read dials and one piece cleaning makes it a pleasure to use! Light enough to store away when not in use. Truly a five star appliance!

    Don't Buy this blender
    Use caution in buying this blender. The blades were mis-aligned, so it wait to didn't work and you can't take the blade assembly off in order to fix the blades. I had to return it for refund. Make sure you don't wait to try it out since WalMart have a 30-day return window, Otherwise you will stuck with a lemon.
