Great Popper
Pops very well. Crispy popcorn. Doesn't pop all the kernels as well as the old popper but popcorn is much much crispier and dry. Takes up a lot more space in my cupboard. Be sure and measure your cupboard before you order.

We really like the popcorn. Even the next day it tastes good. I would recommend. One note, it is large and at the same time, worth the size and finding a place to store it. Easy to clean too.

    Little things for really good results
    If you don't understand that different oils and different types of popcorn will result in huge differences in flavor and quantity in the bowl don't buy this popper. That said - this is an AWESOME popcorn machine. Remember a few things: 1. I'll warn you it isn't automatic because there seem to be lots of reviews from people who don't get that you actually have to operate this appliance. 2. It's up to you to figure out when to dump the bucket and turn off the heat and this varies by the amount and type of oil and amount and freshness of the corn you're popping so if you burn the popcorn it's your fault. 3. It is normal for the machine to reverse the stirrer while it is running. 4. Overloading the popper with corn results in more old maids because the popping corn will catch on and lift out some of the un-popped kernels. 5. You will be able to pop more corn faster in this machine than you can with a hot air popper. One load equals about two loads from my old hot air machine. Final recommendation: Coconut Oil - try it; it's a little different to work with because you spoon it from the jar instead of pouring it. Good coconut oil adds no flavor to your popcorn. Have fun and experiment with your oil and popcorn choices.

    At last, a good popcorn popper
    This is the 3rd popper I have ordered and tried. The other two stopped working after 2 months. Great popper and I got it on sale for $29 also...that's a plus

    My 2 year old loves it as she can do most of the steps herself! It's that easy! Makes a lot of popcorn. Down fall is the size for storing you need a big shelf to put it on. Takes up a cabinet space in our home.

    Pretty Cool!
    This popper is large and can be a challenge to store. However everything else about it is fabulous. It makes a huge amount of popcorn or a small amount if you really want to, and the popcorn is crispy because it has good ventilation. It's easy to clean and it's pretty fun to watch. My family loves it. Best popcorn popper ever and I've had many of them!

    The Hamilton Beach Party Popcorn Maker is the best popper I've tried to date. I am 100% pleased. Follow the instructions and everything turns out perfectly. I hand wash the metal basket and "larger-than-life" popcorn bowl even though it says you can put in dishwasher. Watch the video. It truly is as they say...at least for mine so far :) No it doesn't make 6 quarts at one time, but I don't need it to. It makes a good amount per the measuring cup enclosed and maybe 10 unpopped kernels after batch is made. Again, I am very pleased. Hope you are too!

    It was on sale "clearance".
    I love it! It was my third popper that I have purchased and the last. It makes awesome popcorn like at the movie theater. My first one was an air popper, Yuck. The second popper I only used like three times, it was the one that rotates the kernels at the bottom then you flip it over into the same bowl and for some reason the kernels would not completely pop and the ones that did only popped half way through. My family is always using this remarkable machine that looks like R2D2!

    I had a hard time making a choice on what popcorn machine/popper I wanted. I almost bought the regular big popcorn machine but I knew I had no space but wanted movie theater quality popcorn results. Came across this one gave it a shot and I got the results I was looking for and convenient space saver is a plus. I also bought the pre-measured 4 oz popcorn packets from great northern and it is delish popcorn just like the movies but at home!!

    best popper you can buy.
    Home popped popcorn beats out microwave on not just taste, put also costs. So when shopping for a new popcorn popper I was a little dissapointed with the quality and the selection at Wal-mart until I came acrossed this unit. At $80 it was as much as a big old style popper, but I went with this one and was glad I did. First off this is designed to pump out large batches of popcorn and waste no kernels and make as little as 1/4 cup if you want some for one person. Second, this popper is made very well. After pulling it out of the box you realize your getting what you pay for. Every inch of it is very solid with heavy duty heating element and kernal mover. Next, this is all dishwasher safe for east clean up. This is not a air popper, this is the real deal with oil and easy clean up. Get your self some popcorn topping oil and some salt, and enjoy the best popper you can buy.
