For the last two decades, I've handpicked high end components and built my own home PC workstations for photo and video editing. This time around, as my current machine was beginning to show signs of aging out, as does all technology I just decided to simplify the process. My workplace is filled with dozens, if not hundreds, of HP Z workstation running Avid video editing software and along with a multitude of graphic programs such as Adobe and Viz. So I decided if it's good enough for CBS News it's good enough for me. This pre-configured Z4 G4 shipped within a couple of days and since it arrived, it's been nothing but perfection. Installing my own NMVe SSD and more RAM was a piece of cake, I had all my own software in and running within days. I'm a very happy editor. Thank you HP!
