HP printer ink
I do quite a bit of printing at home, as a school teacher, and the 61 XL cartridge really does last longer. The print is always clear and accurate. The color cartridge is bright and brilliant. I also love that a recycle bag is included to put the used cartridge in the mail back to HP.

Bad HP ink cartridge
It was very disappointing. I installed the new ink cartridge and immediately it said it needed to be replaced. I made sure it was seated correctly as well as I tried a couple of other things. I reinstalled the cartridge a couple of times but it kept saying the cartridge needed to be replaced. I was on a tight deadline and this made me miss their deadline. I also lost the future contract for doing additional jobs for them.

    HP 61 XL ink cartridge
    After replacing my ink cartridge in the printer, I ordered a new one. The date for best before is July 2023, giving me almost 1.5 years to use it. The normal cartridges don't seem to last as long as the suggested usage by manufacturer but maybe I am doing something wrong. I am glad that this ink is my backup because the delivery was an extra week after projected delivery date; I thought that it was lost.

    Excellent Quality
    I have an aged HP Deskjet 3510 I use for personal documents. It's a reliable workhorse that I use only HP ink cartridges.The occasional problems I have with it are caused by WI-FI. They are simple to handle and replacing the cartridges is a fast and easy push-in. I like that I don't have to have a color cartridge installed if I want to print black only, although when i need color, it's the same convenient size cartridge next to the black.. The 61XL black usually lasts me longer than I expect. But I always keep a spare. I would like to see HP give more competitive discounts on HP ink cartridges. Other than that, I'm satisfied with the really good reliable quality and performance.

    Great Product
    I love my HP printer but I think the ink is quite expensive. I get ink quite often as I print a lot of stuff. I print things for friends who do not have a computer all the time. Living in a Seniors only community, a lots of folks do not have computers so I do a lot for them.

    So easy to do.
    It's great to have immediate recycle option. It comes right to my door and I don't have to get in the car and go to Office supply store or a store where everything is under lock and key and you wait half an hour to find a clerk! One push of a button. Wow. All done.

    Cannot figure out why - but it wasn't good
    Just two days ago, I opened up and inserted the new HP colored ink cartridge I'd bought within the past month into my still-functioning HP deskjet 1000. I wanted to include with my holiday cards a one-page poem with a small picture of the poet - size 2 1/8 x 1 7/8 inches - on it. I printed out 3 copies, then stopped. BECAUSE WHILE THE 1ST 2 PRINTS WERE OKAY - THE 3rd COPY WAS STREAKED WITH REDDISH LINES. I've got zero idea why. Decided I'll print from now on with the black ink cartridge only.

    The Cartridge doesn't work
    I have had a Deskjet 3050A for many years. Originally, it used HP 61 ink cartridges. At some point they switched their black ink to the 61XL cartridge. I guess they wanted me to throw away my old printer because I've never been able to get the new cartridge to fit.
