Perfect addition to tool bag
This is a really great compact and space saving level. It is small enough to fit in your tool bag so you always have a level with you which is really convenient, because sometimes you never know when you need a level. There is a magnet on the bottom side of the level so you can easily attach it to something magnetic, always a great added touch. Visually, the level looks very sleek and clean with the white and silver accents. On the top of the level there is even a cut out so if you are standing on top of what you are leveling you can check to see if it is level without maneuvering your way to the front. I tried the level out on several picture frames and various furniture and it is very accurate, I assumed it was but figured I'd put it to the test as well. Overall, this is a really nice small level for home projects or small projects. You may need a longer one for something more in depth. But, if you are just working around your house this is a great level to pick up and add to your tool bag.

    Works great
    I bought this because it's always good to have more than 1 level around the house. This one is very similar to an old one I have and trust. When this one arrived, I used it to balance my new washing machine. Worked wonderfully, and it didn't take me too long. I love that this is magnetized - I slapped it to the side of the washing machine for a precise result. It's not too long nor too short. Good quality, good price. I may buy another one.

    Great torpedo level
    Hart 9-inch Torpedo Level with Magnetic Egde is a great tool to have in your tool box. I have only had the tool for just over a week now and I have used it on multiple jobs around the house like hanging pictures, mounting a tv to the wall, and mount a shelf in my garage! It is more convenient to use than my larger level. The torpedo level is a perfect size!

    This is a great level for any of your projects! It has a groove on one of the side which is nice when trying to level something that is not flat, like a towel rack or pipe. The other side of it is magnetic which is great if trying to hang something metal without having to use your hands! It is easy to read from the side and from the top. We have used it for hanging picture frames, installing shelving, and changing some plumbing. If you're in the market for a new level, I highly recommend this one!

    Hart Tool 9 inch Level - EXCELLENT!!!
    I received this item for the purpose of review. I just LOVE this little level. It has a magnetic strip on one side for easy leveling. My husband spotted it and said that would be great for his car stuff. NO DEAL! This one is mine!!! I tested it on the front door decoration to ensure it was level before anchoring in place. Just snapped the level on the bottom of the metal decoration which allowed me to free up both hands for anchoring on each corner. WOW. You cannot get much better than this. Well made, sturdy looking. Not plastic looking like my other tiny levels. Every gal & guy needs one for small-medium jobs around the house or in the garage. This one is definitely a keeper and a new go-to tool in my She-Toolbox. Excellent item. Just love it already. Thank you so much Walmart & Hart Tools!!!!

    Perfect for my household toolbox
    This little level is the perfect addition to my household toolbox. At only 9 inches long, it is small enough to use is small spaces. It is perfect for leveling pictures and other wall hangings, as well as appliances. The V-groove edge fits perfectly on several of my frames, and where it doesn't set, I can just flip it over and use the flat edge. The only thing that would make it better would be even a short ruler etched into at least one side.

    I received the HART 9-inch Torpedo Level a couple of days ago and have already used it a few times. This is a great tool that everyone should have on hand. The only levels I've ever had were much larger and awkward to use. This Hart level is just the right size and is lightweight; it is less than 4.5 ounces. It has a magnet on one edge so you can level metal pictures, shelving, brackets, and other things without having to hold the item and the level at the same time. For me, it was easy to read. Like all the levels I've owned, you can level horizontally, vertically, or at a 45 degree angle. There is a window in the side that is grooved for another way to look at the bubble showing how level your item is. About that grove, I was told that was good for leveling pipes and such. I am not in the construction business. I'm just a typical home owner doing basic things like picture hanging and very basic repairs around the house. But, in my opinion, this is the best level around. I highly recommend this HART 9-inch Torpedo Level to all home owners. It's easy to use, easy to store, and lightweight.

    this little nine inch level feels sturdy in your hands, and it has a decent amount of weight to it. it is mostly made of plastic, but both outer sides have metal. One side is the magnet that lets it stay put without slipping, and the other side has a metal groove that can sit on small pipes etc. there is the standard three levels and it can be seen from above through the metal part. it also has two holes on either end, if you want to hang it up on a nail for easy grabbing. definitely recommend having one of these, they are so handy and they are not overly big like other levels, it can also fit into tighter spaces if need be.

    Excellent small level!
    The HART 9" TORPEDO LEVEL is a very handy and useful little tool. This is the first small level I've ever owned. I used to always use the 4' or the 2' levels I've had forever. But for doing certain jobs like leveling appliances and hanging stuff on the wall, this torpedo level is much easier to use. I tested it for level compared to the 2 other levels I have and it was dead on. I also really like the fact that it has a magnetic edge. Makes it super easy when leveling things like washers, dryers and fridges! A torpedo level like this one is now a must have for anyone's basic tool kit. For anyone looking for an excellent, small, accurate and easy to use level, I definitely recommend you give this one a try.
