energy efficient......
This 4 pack "Great Value" 16 watt LED light bulb's came today and I already have a use for them. I'm going to replace my wife's vanity bulb's and see if she can tell a difference. One "16 watt LED bulb" is equivalent to one, "100 watt traditional incandescent bulbs ", These bulb's have up to 20,000 hours or 18 years bulb life, or more, depending the use of the bulb. That's alot of saving's over the year's by switching to LED bulb's. The A19 shape, and the E26 base, which is your common use in almost any home lighting fixture, is a perfect fit for these energy efficient LED bulb's. They look just like a regular bulb until you pick one up and examine it. It's heavier, strong and shatter proof material's make's this one long lasting bulb. It has a brightness of 1650 lumens (each bulb) with a color temperature of soft white to daylight. Well, to her telling a difference in her vanity lighting, was like night and day, "much brighter" natural soft white effect. I told her, I could see every wrinkle in my face, maybe it's too bright for me but she love's the new brightness, even with 2 LED bulb's on, it's like a 200 watt bulb on, and your only using 32 watt's. LED is the best lighting, use's less energy and will last many year's. These "Great Value" bulb's can be found in 25 watt,40,60,75 to the 100 watt LED bulb's at any Wal Mart. I know I will be using more of these and replacing out all of my breakable glass incandescent bulbs to the "shatter resistance" LED bulb's.

Terrible packing
The items were fine, but the packaging was terrible! Without the required packing and correct sized shipping box, the AAA batteries busted open, and were rattling around the box. They were loosely packed with lightbulbs, but somehow the bulbs made it through unscathed!

    best lighting, awesome savings and selection!
    super amazing lighting may I first add....and also not hot to the touch ...you can literally touch the bulb when it's lighted and it's not hot at all....I mean this new led lighting is just amazing ...not only did my electric bill drop by 20.00 a month after I replaced all my bulbs in the house....but the lighting is like 10 times better than standard glass bulbs....even the standard glass energy saving bulbs.....I just love the price point of these bulbs ....and just the quality and the fine works of these bulbs are just amazing....no better bulb on the planet like this bulb....I found my bulb for life .... and may I add.....THERE PLASTIC AND WILL NEVER SHATTER!!

    Great Value Light Bulbs
    These light bulbs are very standard soft white but gives off a yellow warm color to the room. I am using one outdoors in the balcony and it works great. It is a bonus that it is shatter resistant. This adds a bit a safety in my mind. They look more plastic than glass. Overall great for using around the house.

    I didn't know how much light I was missing out on until I put these bulbs in! I had already been using a different LED brand but the Great Value bulbs give so much more light. I definitely have to buy some for my craft room. These bright white will be perfect there!

    Very bright! Is truly break free!
    First thing I did was test it by throwing it on the dining room floor. We threw it several times and it never broke and still worked perfectly. We put it in our son's room next to a regular bulb. This one is so much brighter. I highly recommend this especially for kids rooms.

    Super fantastic for outside
    I use 60W Daylight equivalent in my house. The daylight bulbs gets rid of the yellow dingy look in regular bulbs. I've been wanting to try the 100 W bulbs on my outside lamps to see how much they would light up. Getting these 100 W bulbs gave me the opportunity to do so. I am really glad that I installed them because one bulb in the front lights up the whole front yard and one bulb in the back lights up the entire backyard. They should last A really long time. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking to get the LED lights and save on The electric bill. These bulbs also do not get hot at all. In fact you can have one on all night, stick your hand in there and touch it and it still feels cool.

    Bright idea
    These low heat bulbs have a nice soft but bright white light and because they are equivalent of a 100 watts, they put out a lot of light. I used these in my lamps and we only need to use one lamp to light up our living room. There is a nice non-glaring glow that is close to daylight. Everything looks crisper without that haze that some bulbs give off. I'm excited that they are the same size of a regular filament bulb so they fit into lamps with shades on them. There is little heat and they save money as LED's are cheaper to use. I am thrilled to finally have an LED light bulb that will fit most of my lamps. My mood is so much better, having lights that will brighten up a home like daylight on these dull, dark winter days.

    Soft light, perfect brightness
    These 6 watt light bulbs are exactly the right level of brightness for indirect lighting in a room. I use them in a reading lamp, a decorative lamp, even in a closet. They are brighter than the 25 watt clear filament that they are replacing, but not harsh at all.

    The best light bulb!
    I was really happy to see Great Value make an LED bulb. LED bulbs can be quite expensive. I was even happier to see that the 13.5 watt (75 watt equivalent) came in Daylight. For those of you that don't know, most bulbs are "soft white". "Daylight" bulbs are a lot brighter. My home has dark paneling walls. The daylight bulbs really make a difference in the brightness of the light. I don't feel like I am in a cave trying to see anything. These bulbs have a medium base. That means they have the regular or, most common base size that screw into the light socket. They are also non dimmable. Which is fine with me, I don't want them to dim. The box says that they are shatter resistant. This is a good thing because I have actually had a couple of the CFL (the curly bulbs) burn out and shatter while still screwed into the socket. And finally, the box says that the bulbs will last 18 years. I figured if they lasted 9 years, I had gotten my moneys worth out of them. In my opinion, this is the best light bulb. It is bright, affordable, and energy efficient.

    Odd effect but good
    This light bulb had me wondering what was going on. lol. Lets start with size. It is slightly longer than a different brand of the same same type, wattage and look. This may be a factor for smaller lamps. Once I placed the bulb in the lamp, I noticed it appeared brighter without as much glare. Since I issues with bright lights, this is a nice feature for me. I dropped this bulb 10 times and it did not break and it still lit up without issue. Good for ppl with grip problems. However, the odd part comes in when you take pics. Pic 1 shows my original bulb. It looks brighter than the new one in Pic 2. This is not actually the case. Quite the opposite. I can only guess it is because the GV bulb does not glare as much. The camera must have caught the glare in the first pis, making it look brighter than it was. Might make a note when taking pics All in all I am pleased with the bulbs.
