very good!
I'm usually only a blonde roast person or maybe a medium roast for the light flavor. I wanted to try dark because it's less acidic. I am pleasantly surprised at the quality and taste of this coffee. It is not bitter at all. I love it. Now I can have my coffee, affordably, without heartburn.

Buy something else!
I started buying this coffee because of the low price and I actually liked the flavor, dark and rich. But the last couple of purchases I noticed the flavor has changed, no longer as smooth...tastes like cheap coffee now. I will be purchasing another brand from now on!

    DO YOU NEED RICH, SMOOTH FLAVOR? BUY THIS COFEE! ❤
    DELICIOUS AND SUSTAINABLE! Goodbye, Kicking Horse, Death Wish; this is better than any gourmet, bougie coffee I've ever had. One sip was all it took. And ALL GV coffees are now cerrified sustainable! Smooth, rich, bold, with dark choocolate notes, zero bitter or burnt (yeah, you, Starbucks!) taste. And one cup felt like 2 cups of any other dark roast, so use restraint at first with your scoops unless youre into having 'the zooms'. I've always used the "bold" setting on my pot so it drips slower for more of that COFFEE hit 1st thing in the morning, but it's not necessary with GV French Rosst. The beans are fabulous in Sambuca too. Now, Walmart: you've gone sustainable; so switch to recycleable packaging please! Plastic = no good for earth. ❤

    Best coffee for the price. I love this.
    I've always bought name branded coffee. My husbands drive is so much coffee, I picked up the small canister of the regular and he loved it. I tried this one and said, "That's my coffee." Will continue to buy this as long as they keep the same great flavor and taste.

    A PRETTY GOOD CUP OF COFFEE...NOT AS FLAVORFUL OR TASTY AS MY REGULAR FRENCH ROAST, GEVALIA WHICH HAS THE BEST TASTE AND FLAVOR IN MY OPINION, BUT FOR ABOUT HALF THE PRICE AND GOOD FOR A RELATIVELY INEXPENSIVE FRENCH ROAST.

    No longer over spending or over scooping. Delish!
    I love strong coffee and have been buying Starbucks or Pete's. I tried Great Value during the covid19 time when the shelves were not properly stocked. I took a chance on the store brand and have been buying it since. I find I do not have to over scoop to get a nice strong pot of coffee. The price is fantastic.
