Best
These and the plates of GV are my favorite paper ware. Normally, you have to put a second plate or bowl under a “paper ware” when you use it. These you don't. Very sturdy and can hold anything I need in them. I even eat hot soup in them!

Disappointing
I got these by mistake I did not realize that they were Dixie. These plates are not as good as the Dixie plates you have to use two to support the food.

    Nice
I like these bowls. Great for travel, picnic, not wanting to wash dishes for a day, and any type of celebration. I like that its deep and wide enough to use for many kinds of food wet or dry. Fill it all tue way to the top and enjoy!

    Generous size, good quality
These plastic coated paper bowls are, in my opinion, the best size for serving cereal, chili, or any food that's typically served in a bowl. There's ample room for a serving, plus several toppings. The bowls are sturdy enough that you don't have to worry about dumping the contents.

    Nice big paper bowls
If you're looking into buying paper bowls, you probably already know exactly what you're looking at getting. These are not going to perform to the level of your nicest stoneware and I'd be shocked if anyone expected them to. These are for cookouts, craft parties, camping, riding out power outages, any situation where the washable bowls might not be as practical, nor their greater resilience to high heat and moisture as much of a boon. The Great Value Everyday paper bowls use a pleated construction to create the bowl shape, which you can see easily when viewed at close range. They stand up nicely to plating spaghetti, whipping eggs, serving up cake, any number of uses that don't ask them to stand up to high heat or excess moisture. Anything that might create an abundance of steam is where it's asking too much of this bowl. Say, just for example, you try to reheat some leftover potato casserole in the microwave and you put the serving in a paper bowl. You might discover that the pleats have loosened and the bowl is looking kind of droopy when you take it out of the microwave. But that kind of situation is the exception and where you'd probably want a more durable bowl to begin with. For most casual uses, if you need a paper bowl, this one is a good pick.

    Small -- limited use
These bowls are 20 oz which when it boils down to it is too small for an adult to have cereal or make a side salad. These are really only good to house some snacks or a side dish like baked beans. I found that they didn't really serve their purpose in the every day category I was hoping for with a newborn. I ate some mac and cheese which is dense, was hot, has some sauce/liquid and the bowl held up well. It isn't a catch all everyday bowl, but will work for some very specific things. For our household we need something bigger, these just have limited use.

    Something's changed..
So I get a lot of the paper plates and bowls from Walmart and I will say these ones seem like the coating is just not as thick and strong as the older ones. I'm not sure if they're trying to do something new or what. It's good for snacks and light things but be careful with soups or cereals! Also the rims feel a little flimsier so be careful holding them!

    Good size
These howls are actually a pretty good size. I have been using thwm in my house mainly just to keep from having to wash so many dishes. Also if I am heading out and want to take a snack, I use these so I can just toss it instead of having to worry about bringing it back home. They have been holding up good and have had no accidents this far.

    Very flimsy
We normally use the "name brand" product, and this is not even close to that quality. These are very thin and flimsy. The food leaks through the bottom as well. I mixed some cocktail sauce and it leeched through the bottom within 30 minutes. So much so, a little bit of the bottom stuck to the granite..

    Useful
I like these bowl but they don't handle hot and juicy together very well. It became soggy within about 5mins of it being in use. But it did hold off and didn't break. It would be better if they were a little more thicker but they work just fine. I use them for snacks for our kids. Very flexible and bendy as well. Definitely works for snacks.

Great for most snacks I would say
So, I really tried these out with a multitude of different foods to give a good review of them. They are okay for all snacks. Chips, even dips that need heating work well with these. Same with watermelon, as longs as you watch how much you put into them. Nothing soaked through which is impressive for watermelon! They also never bent and folded like cheaply made ones. Now, I would not eat spaghetti out of these for sure, nor soup as it is possible the hot liquid could bend the edges and spill onto yourself. I did not risk this while trying them out. Compared to other paper bowls I have used, these are good. I did eat cereal out of them and it did not spill onto me so I would say they are much better than other versions. The package says they are soak through proof. They are. It also says they hold a pound each, I agree with this, too. They are truthful in their statements about these and I would recommend due to this.

    Not great for soup
The size of these bowls is great. They are big enough to hold a large serving of whatever you are eating. They would work perfectly for dry goods like chips, crackers, etc. We used them for soup and they are pretty flimsy. They didn't get soggy, but definitely are not sturdy enough to safely carry a bowl full of soup, especially if a child is carrying it. I'd recommend them, just not for warm liquids.
