Excellent plates, great value
These disposable plates are a great value. You get 300 in the pack and they are safe to use to reheat food in the microwave. They are thick enough that one plate is fine to get the job done. You don't need to double up the plates. They are uncoated which I appreciate. I definitely recommend these disposable plates for a party or to make everyday life easier.

They are best used for lightweight non-porous foods, of course, in my opinion. Sometimes I double or triple up if I’m eating something that a bit on te heavier side. Definitely like the fact that they are non-coated, which is my preference. They get the job done. Plus it’s a 300 count so they should last awhile.Duvaldiva

I personally like using for super messy foods like bacon, sausage, melted cheese, s'mores, etc. For super easy clean up. I feel the uncoated plates do a better job absorbing oils or grease. These are very thin, paper thin. I have to stack plates in order to make them manageable. It does work well in the microwave to warm up food so that's a good thing.ZGalaxy90s

Sometimes when my husband gets plates, they don't quite fit the plate holders we have but these fit perfectly. They are great when you don't want to dirty a dish and are thick enough that you don't have to double them unless you have something really juicy or greasy. As I said, we use the plastic plate holders to keep them sturdy. We use a lot of paper plates in this house so when I can get a good deal on them and they fit my needs I am very happy!Brekay

I was excited to try these Great Value Mainline Plates, Paper, White, Uncoated, 9 IN, 300 CT, but my excitement turns to disappointment after using them. I found them to be very thin and easily saturated. They are not good for heavy serving but can be used for sandwiches, fruits, and biscuits.Juste

I like that these are non-coated because we burn them in the campfire when we're done with them. Because they aren't coated the plates don't have a glossy white sheen which I'm fine with. You can't beat Walmart prices on basics and pantry items like this. I also like that the non-coated plates can be tossed in my composting bin as well as the charcoal grill at the beach with any fumes being released into the environment.Walmarterrific

I like that a lot of plates come in a package. The only problem is that they aren't very strong. Often times, I have to use two plates to be sure that they will not buckle with the amount of weight on a plate. So in that respect, I don't like them because sometimes I have to waste more than one plate. Things like spaghetti or mashed potatoes, or anything else heavy weighs them down. Besides that, they're just ordinary paper plates and are a decent value. I like them.Candyandydoodle

These plates aren't meant for foods that are wet because they're not soak proof. These are uncoated and wouldn't absorb wet or greasy foods. These are about the average size of a standard dinner plate. Each plate does have some sturdiness to it for light foods. I like that these come in bulk because as a family of 4, we go through a lot of plates and everyone knows washing dishes isn't fun. I couldn't see any reasons to deduct and stars because these plates aren't terribly thin and will hold sandwiches, toast or anything light.Shopaholic
