i got this because i decided to get short hair. n wanted to be planet friendly. its great for wispy parts however slip proof isbt exactly true if u dont have dry, wavy or curly hair. i have oily hair n its not one to.stay put. cute n practical but fir the price point not 100% worth as much.

    Plastic, not wood.
    Thought these looked like wood and painted wood, but they are a cheap-looking plastic. Disappointed but can use at home.
