Didn't even know how much I needed this!
Like many others, as soon as COVID-19 hit I went online and bought a ton of home gym equipment, including this bench. So happy! I'm 5'4”, 180lbs and this bench is perfect for me. The only thing that bothered me was that it couldn't angle enough for incline dumbbell presses but I just realized if I lean the bench on a barbell it creates the perfect angle. Zero regrets!

Horrible model- do not buy
This is a very unstable model. If you have read the other posts, you will see that the way the clamps hold the bar for the bench press is just bad in design already. With the price I went ahead and purchased this model. I just always checked the clamps before and during every workout. Well then I found this last night. The bar that supports the foot end is bending under. I am so glad I saw it before a big accident could have happened. I have only owned this for 4 months and I weigh 160 and only lift 30 pounds. So this definitely should not have happened. Look at the photo. Towards the top of the bar is bending forcing the leg to go under the unit. I have checked on returning, because it says not to return to the store. The actual company has a $250 shipping return fee. So after 4 months, you will just be out and nothing to do about it.

    False Advertisement
This equipment may have adults on this Advertisement but I'm pretty certain they are under 5ft, at best. I'm 5'7 and not one part of this equipment allowed my body to properly be placed. I felt like an Amazon trying to sit on this and it wobbled even putting weights on it. The only reason I gave it a 1 star, aside from it being the lowest option available, is because it was easy to assemble. However, I refuse to break it down, it was easy to assemble but it was time consuming. The picture I attached is of my 4'7" daughter so you all can have a visual reference and she even looks like she will out grow it by the summer. Golds Gym should really place children on the cover because that is who properly fits this equipment.

The assembly manual is the best I have ever seen. Top quality weight bench for the price.

    Wobbly and bad customer service!
Out of the box, one of the screws was broken and the edge of the seat had a tear in it. Contacted costumer service about the screw first since that was the first thing I noticed. Was asked for mailing address so they could send a replacement screw. My next email was about the tear. Never heard back from them after that, and never received the replacement screw either, not even after multiple emails in which I forwarded their reply telling me they would send one out. Regardless, the bench is very wobbly. I will never buy anything from gold's gym again!

Product was easily assembled and is very steady while in use. I love having the option to roll out of bed, walk into my guest room and get a serious work out. I'm unsure of the weight capacity but I'm currently lifting 275 lbs on the machine

    very small
I weigh about 150 stand 5'2 i was looking for a starter weight set for at home it is very small the width is only 24 inches. I only gave it a 5 fir durability because it did look steady even though i did not completly put it together. The value of the product looked good. Just too small even my 16 year old son said something and he only weighs 100 lbs

    poor design
Human anatomy was not considered in the design of this bench. The vertical stirrup posts are spaced 24.5 inches apart. That's right where most peoples arms need to be for doing bench presses. I have 2 older benches I keep for scrap metal. Manufacture era is about late 1980s, early 1990s. They are spaced 16, and 18 inches apart respectively. I had to saw out 8 inches out of the center of your bench to make it useable. I am 60 years old. At no time in my life have I had so much trouble with new merchandise being poorly designed, or buildt with an eye on skimping on metal

    Okay for beginner
This was a good value for $59 until I saw the CAP bench with 100 Lb barbell for $10 more. I would have returned it and get the CAP version except I already installed it.

    Serves its purpose
I bought this for my wife, who doesn't have a gym membership. She doesn't use heavy weight and only does the basic exercises so it fits her needs perfectly. It is a great starter bench for a 11-13 year old, but I wold not recommend it, if you use over 100 lbs of weight.
