So easy to clean!!!!!!!!!!!!
I teach Family and Consumer Sciences (formerly Home Ec.) I bought 6 of these amazing grills to use with my students. Not only is it versatile, we can make so many foods with it, it is fast. We can easily cook foods in a class period and because the grills are easy to clean students are out of class on time. I have one in my home as well. If you have an older version it is time to update, the new features are worth every penny!

Less than worthless
I got this grill because we can't have an outside grill and because it had a ceramic coating. I first tried "grilling" 6 hamburgers. They took forever to cook and virtually just steamed the burgers. Next I tried thin ribeye steaks. I thought maybe the hamburgers did not have enoug fat as they were ground sirloin. The steaks again did not "grill". Not even close. The indicator light that it was ready to grill went off as soon as the meat went on and it never indicated it was at temperature again. I only put on two steaks. Total failure. Next I tried bacon. Surely it could cook that right. I had to finish it on my griddle. The book says it heats from 365 to 400 on max. Each time it was on max the whole time. When I say it is less than worthless I mean it because it takes up a large space in your kitchen. I am very upset at the price and how can I take it back because I don't have the box.

    George Foreman Grill
This George Foreman Grill was purchased fora birthday gift. I would give this product 5 stars. because of the easiness of its use and cleaning. I really think ordering it on line and picking it up in the local store made the entire process simple. I will be thinking about doing this type of shopping more often since I do have some disabilities. Thank you Wal Mart for the successful gift giving for me.

    Disappointed
I got this as a gift for Christmas because my old one was just worn out and I really wanted a new one. I have had great experiences with two grills in the past, but this one was a huge disappointment. I put six hamburgers on to grill and before they were even done, the grease was running over the little tiny tray that came with it. My old grills came with two trays and they were much larger. I can't believe they went smaller. The grill also practically sits on the counter so I can't even improvise. Tried the old trays and they don't fit under the grill. Also, the food slides down and goes into the grease if not careful. So disappointed, this is my first review I have ever written on a product. Do all the styles have that little tiny tray now? Love the old models I have had in the past, but not this model. I would not recommend this model or other models if the trays have all been changed to the very small trays.

    Finally!
I have finally found the George Foreman Grill that meets all my requirement: removable plates, easy cleaning and the size needed to cook 4 large burgers. So far I have enjoyed using it. I do agree with another review that the grease catcher is too small; 4 standard burgers fills the catcher to the top. Y you have to be very mindful and steady in emptying it or you can spill some. I have only used the highest temperature setting and burgers cook at the recommended time. I have also grilled zucchini slices and they were fine. With a larger grease catcher, I would have given it 5 stars.

    Worst grill so far!
This is my 3rd time buying a GF grill and have always been pleased in the past. EVERYTHING sticks to this one. Every time it sticks and you open the lid you rip the meat in half. You cannot use a marinade for flavor and is super hard to clean without scratching! So disappointed! I paid the most for this one and it is the worst quality by far. Have not even owned it that long and need to replace it.

    I like it A LOT!
The last George Foreman grill I had was years ago and it was one of the original classic grills. It was great and the only complaint I ever had was cleanup. I decided to try one of the new removable plate grills and chose this one because of the removable ceramic coated plates and the adjustable temperature. This grill is pretty big. I was able to fit 6 burgers on it. The plates are very slick and I don't see anything sticking to them. When I placed the burgers on the grill they literally started sliding down this thing is so non stick. FYI* The instructions specifically note NOT to use cooking spray on the grill. It says it will build up and create a residue. You don't need it so don't spray it. I had it on highest heat and my burgers came out great. The drip tray was completely full after cooking and this was lean ground beef so it definitely still "knocks out the fat". The plates are easy to remove and although it says I can put them in the dishwasher a quick rinse in the sink was all I did. I am very happy with this grill so far. My only complaint is that the cord is very short. Not sure what possessed them to give it such a tiny cord, but nonetheless I am very happy with this grill.

    Outdoor Cooking Indoors
The George Foreman Grill with Removable Plates, Black is the best and only indoor grill for me. what people are saying is true about cooking with all the taste and none of the fat. Grilling is new to me so I immediately ran out and bought steaks anything that said grilling on the pack. I like the way the grease runs off of the meat because of the tilt. I have not had a problem with meat sliding off because when I put the meat on the grill, I close the top grill and when I open the top grill my meat is cooked. I love grilling meat on the top and bottom at the same time. It has an adjustable temperature and that helps me control the speed of my cooking. The removable ceramic plates are really a dream come true because they make the clean up so easy food do not stick to them. Meat has never tasted better in my house. I also used it to cook chicken and when I got the cook time right my chicken breast came out firm and juicy. I ate so much it felt like I had eaten in a restaurant . When it comes to the George Foreman Grill with Removable Plates, all I can say is I don't know how I ever did without it. I will not be without it anymore

    Meh
Construction quality is fair. Ceramic coating is rough in spots. Cord is maybe 18" long(max) so must have an extension cord in order to operate under exhaust fan. Drip system leaves much to be desired, in fact, it's flat out horrible and the plastic drip tray is flimsy and clumsy to handle, especially when full of grease. While I will use it at times, I would never buy this again.

    Great Grill
Great Grill but as mentioned by another reviewer this grill doesn't have the function to sit flat. Not usually a problem but these ceramic plates are so slick that anything you put on the basically slides right off the grill. I've used the trick off putting the drip pan underneath it to prop it so I can cook things like eggs on it and if you're like me this isn't your first George foreman so I use a spare drip try to catch any grease. With that being said it gets extremely hot on the highest setting which is great for getting quick grill marks. The ceramic plates are really nice in that I haven't had to use oil at all and nothing sticks them, clean up is a breeze. I also got this for $30 due to an pricing error so keep in mind that for $30 it's great at $60 food sliding off of the grill might be a real annoyance to me.
