Hold on to this beast when Power washing.
Excellent piece of equipment. But the start pull cable is in the way of the frame. And the hose carrier is not quite big enough to hold the hose. Walmart shipping / ordering was very disfunctional. Had to drive twice for pick up. Took 30 days to ship and pick up at store.

Pressure Hose fitting failed at startup!
While this pressure washer is very powerful and works great. I had a hose fitting break 30 seconds after starting the engine! Bought a $80 Simpson hose from TSC and now the washer works great. Very powerfull machine and definitely a huge step up from my old homeowner model, but for what I have invested after buying the hose I should have bought the Simpson pressure washer to start with. Guess thats what I get for trying to save $50.

    The 6565 is a very robust and reliable pressure washer. Be very careful when using as it will damage softer materials. This pressure washer has a compact design and is very powerful for cleaning anything. The engine starts first pull almost every time and seems to be reliable. The 6565 is a great value for the work it does.

    This is a heavy duty tool fit for all tasks I can think of. Any final review is contingent upon how it weathers through winter storage, if the pump seals last and the winterizing fluid I purchased from Generac for it works well, then we should be all good. I am worried about storing it in sub-zero temperatures. I love the convenient storage location of the various nozzles, and the wand is nicely designed. Minor complaints: the suction tube for detergents floats, need a way to have this stay submerged in the bottom of a bucket/bottle. Clamps etc. I've tried just restrict the detergent flow. Maybe a weight of some sort. Also this needs to be kept off the hot engine, I used twist ties strategically placed along the hose. Second, the main hose is unwieldy, but it's tough to come up with a solution to this - the hose holds a lot of pressure and needs to be sturdy, but that makes it tough to coil/manage. But moreover, this also needs to be kept away from the hot engine. I tried looming it up with what appears to be a plastic hangar (perhaps intended for this purpose?) near the wand storage area, but this wore and ultimately broke due to the high stress the hose puts on it. Some sort of a sturdy loom is needed to keep the hose from getting destroyed by contact with the hot engine. This is admittedly not a huge risk, as the frame around the engine does a decent job of preventing incidental contact, but it can happen, and when you're busy working you can't easily babysit the hose. Lastly, for anyone washing large patio/deck areas, the rotary attachment is an absolute godsend. This thing works, and is a great value. It literally reduces job time by 400% or more. Keep in mind this is a serious tool - my wife is too small to handle this thing - it pushes enough force to jerk the wand and push her. It does what it's designed to do, but the hobbits in your life may wish to stick with a garden hose.

    Great machine
    Absolutely love this machine, I grew tired dealing with cheaper off brand pressure washers that lacked both performance and quality. After doing extensive research on various models over several months time. What made me choose this model 6565 4200 psi 4.0 gallon per minutes machine was due to the level of power combined with the high rate of flow, along with the warranty. I've only had this unit about five months but I can say the versatility is flawless. It was powerful enough to make my old nasty concrete look brand new, but I can also switch to a weaker tip and wash my truck and my UTV's with no issue. Bottom line I am very impressed with the performance and quality of the machine.

    When it runs, awesome...for ten minutes
    This pressure washer when it runs is awesome! The only problem is, right off the bat, it runs about 10 minutes and shuts off. No problem starting again. Runs another 10 minutes and shuts off. So after first trial use it s already in for repair. Not what I expected for this price. I did a lot of research before I went with this one. I like the fact product is made in the USA. This pressure washer is really heavy duty and really makes the job easy....when it runs. I needed the pressure washer for a really big job I was contracted to do which will now have be delayed or I'll have to rent one or I will lose the job to someone else. I am hoping this is minor issue and I can give a better review at a later time

    A Serious Pressure Washer
    "The right tool for the job" has been my motto in jobs around the home and my business and this beast is the right tool for pressure washing anything at the commercial or domestic level. We wash the swimming pool deck, the tennis court, the decks, the patios, exterior walls, fences, and a lot more! It's so much fun, friends and neighbors get some love, too.

    Extreme Power
    I have been using the 4200 psi 4 gpm pressure washer on commercial jobs and it can handle any job. I use surface cleaners and extension wands and have had excellent results. My first machine has 270 hours on it and my second already has 20 hours on it. The older machine runs just as good as the new machine and isn't showing any signs of stopping.

    Best Power Washer for the Serious
    I bought this 4200 psi power washer to do some serious cleaning around the house. It has been flawless in getting the job done. Follow-up maintenance has been a breeze. You get what you pay for...and in my case I got my moneys worth. I look forward to many years using the power washer.

    This is one powerful machine!
    Delivered fast. Packaging excellent. I had only used household or residential size pressure washers prior to purchasing this Generac model online. The difference in the quality of those units and this Generac is well worth the additional $200-$300. This unit is the 4200psi 4 gpm. The only other thing I will say is, "You better hold on tight".
