My Hair is Bright Red
I'm extremely disappointed in this product, and I usually love Garnier dyes the best. But this one really didn't turn out like the box at all. The color dyed my hair a bright red orange color instead of the Violet in the picture. Very sad about that, as my entire goal was purple at the end of the day. I'd say pass on this one, not sure what's wrong with it.

    I use to use this brand so I know it's really good but I'm not dying my hair anytime soon since I've dyed my hair red recently but it's such a beautiful color! I gifted it to a friend who's interested so I'll keep y'all updated!

    I used this on my teen daughter, she looked so good for back to school. The color was vibrant and beautiful! It was so easy to use and she got so many compliments. Normally I wouldn't do store box hair dye. However my mind is changed and would totally buy this again.

    Not purple at all
    I was so looking forward to having this vibrant purple. I had light to medium brown hair so, per the box, I was supposed to end up with a darker purple. Exactly what I was looking for. Well, I got a red hue instead. On the plus side, I love the smell of this product, and my hair is so soft.

    Left my hair soft, but red
    I really wish I had read the reviews before I tried this. I was going for a more vibrant purple, but this is red with maybe some purple highlights, but even that is pushing it. I am really disappointed. Even in sunlight, I would have trouble calling this either purple or violet. I'm sad and not sure how to fix it. Just wanted purple hair for my birthday.

    Easy to use
    I was very excited to try this color, but it came out a little bit redder than I anticipated. It's still a pretty color with beautiful dimension. Application was extremely easy and actually my favorite color tube and conditioner bottle to come in a hair dye box. If your hair is longer than your shoulders, then you will definitely need more than 1 box.

    I have dark brown hair so I feel it didn't take much on the top part but I have dirty blonde on the tips of my hair so that part did take the color. The application process was fairly easy just I would recommend 2 boxes for someone with a lot of hair. The color looks nice in the sun as my hair was darker to begin with. But I do feel it left my hair feeling nice.

    RED NOT PURPLE
    It's not purple at all it turned my hair a deep red i like it but it wasn't what i wanted so i'm disappointed don't buy if you want purple hair!! I normally recommend this hair dye because it's amazing and usually looks like the box but this is not it:/

    Great results on very damaged hair
    It came out great, but a little lighter and little more on the orange side than the box shows. TO BE FAIR: my hair had been through five years of me bleaching and dying it crazy colors, and then I bleached bathed it and dyed it medium golden brown twice (over the course of two months) before using this color last night. I'm super happy with it, my hair feels great, better than before I dyed it, and I love that the color doesn't reflect purple or burgundy like most other permanent reds I've tried in my pre-bleaching days. I added photos, but keep in mind that I didn't dye healthy virgin hair.

    This stuff really works. It's now my second time using it. I used it in my medium brown hair with no bleach and came out very nice. It's not overwhelming but also is noticeable. If your hair is bleached, it will definitely show up and be super noticeable. It is permanent so it lasts more than 8 washes. If you maintain with colored shampoo/conditioner it can last until you grow it out. In the picture I have attached, I have had it dyed this color for almost 5 months(only have used colored shampoo and sometimes conditioner I have to redye soon so it can look fresher but keep in mind this is 5 months after initial dye). I definitely recommend. (Sorry for the frizziness)
