Excellent fitness and every day watch!
An excellent go anywhere watch, beach, hikes, bike and cardio stats. Have had one for over a year and liked it so much bought another one on sale in case they discontinue it. Thanks Garmin!

Screen not as the picture and inaccurate GPS
Returning the item. Very disappointed. The screen is like milky and the colors not so bright as the pictures. Additionally, I tested the GPS in a straight walk and they recorded as several zigzags, places or circular movements that I never did.

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/22/2021Okay for walking and biking, not for floor climb.Actually bought this watch twice. Returned (28 days) the first one after problems with it not always counting floors climbed accurately or sometimes not at all. It had also went down in price $20 during that 28 days. Tried different watch and did not like it at all. Second Vivoactive 3 has basically performed like the first one for the last 24 days. I bought the watch for three activities, walk outside, bike outside and floor climb. Watch performs well for the walking and biking, miles recorded are with in plus or minus 1.5% and the same to actual. Recorded the same floor climb (16) times, average shown was 21.5, low 17, high 25, variance 37%. Does not include the last climb today that recorded zero! This problem (not recording at all) happened often on the first watch purchased. Would have to turn watch on and off, sometime more than once to get it to work. Also noted intensity minutes are often off, heart rate appears more or less accurate most of the time, but not all the time. Did not check elevation accuracy on second watch. Spent two weeks at the ocean with first watch and it recorded sea level from minus 15 feet to plus 120 feet. Only showing zero to ten feet about 10% of the time. Battery appears to function per stated, however twice had it lose 30% of the charge over night when turned off!?Gary

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser03/29/2021Really like my newest Garmin Vivoactive 3.I have "upgraded" from the Vivoactive 4 to this one, mostly b/c as I age...my eyes can't read the smaller one anymore...it was time!! LOL I really like this one, I can easily see what I want, especially the time. I can change what I see, the watch faces, and how I see things. I love that the Garmins (at least the 2 I have owned) are fairly waterproof/resisitant. I kayak, swim, shower in them and have no issues! Would recommend.Kim

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/15/2021Great Watch for Beginning FitnessThe Vivoactive 3 is the perfect balance between a sports watch and some light smartwatch features. It's a pretty dumb smartwatch, but it is everything I was hoping for. One of the things, which is very minor, that does bother me is that the watch does a terrible job at recording floors (which is data it presents every day, and does not let you edit). Otherwise it is a pretty perfect watch. I particularly enjoy the adaptive 5 K trainer, Garmin Coach, which allows me to get into shape.Sarah

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/27/2020Golf GPS is better than stand alone watchesVery nice basic smart watch! For the price, it can't be beat. The pedometer is great; the heartbeat monitor is great; the night sleep analysis is great; and you get all this plus the golf gps for less!!! What more could you ask for? Maybe a G-shock version because I will not wear this when hitting the boxing bags in my home gym. Sadly, I have had Garmin watch bands give out way earlier than the watch itself so I'm thinking the same here. Happily, the batter charges better and lasts longer than other Garmin watches in the past. So recommended!Charles
