supersonic speed is bad when it comes to pellets.
quick lesson for everyone, pellets are not designed to go over 950fps, and as anyone that has tried these knows they are horribly inaccurate, this is because they are too fast. dont fall for the marketing hype of 1200+fps airguns, because at that kind of speed you would be lucky to be able to hit the side of a barn from the inside. if you want accuracy and penetration, use a heavier pellet to get your speeds down into the 800-900fps range. i use heavy pellets in all my airguns, and have no problem getting 1" or less groups at 50 yards (150ft) do some research and you will find out that pellets shoot best when you keep them subsonic.

    High quality for the price!
Bought two packs and I'm highly satisfied with the performance! The sound it makes is louder which is a plus!

    Extreme Accuracy!
These Gamo PBA Raptor pellets are the most accurate that I have found yet. These are lighter in weight than the standard lead pellets but this increases the muzzle velocity. I set this up at a distance of 85 feet and the grouping is within 1-inch consistently. I am very pleased with the performance of these pellets.

Accurate & Fun Without the Mess
These are worth the extra cost if you have a precision air rifle. With open sites I can consistently put them in a penny size target at 50 feet with open sites. I got a sample pack with my air rifle and have shot cheaper pellets through it as well and there is NO comparison. Be responsible, have a backstop or trap - these are not a toy, these are great for small game the Raptor's are heavy enough for rabbit. I live in the mountains and enjoy shooting an air gun without the mess of cleaning a regular rifle every time I want to target shoot.

    liked pellets
Has a smooth trajectory, it very accurate up to about 25ft seems to wander when shot at farther distances. This pellet is very light and seems to do better in a rifle.

    Loud and Lethal
These Pellets take awhile to get used to. I own a Ruger BlackHawk rifle that I shoot open site. They are not as acurate as say the Gammo Redfire. They are very loud and lethal when you do hit your target. After making several adjustments to my shooting style without readjusting the sites I could hit my mark consistantly. I recommend these pellets to only serious shooters because they are expensive.

    Needed a high velocity pellet
I've got a horrible problem with wild turkeys getting on my shingle roof and causing water leaks from their digging around......I bought a Gamo Camo Rocket air rifle and heard about the Gamo Raptor pellets being very good for what I had in mind......I had heard that they could increase the velocity of an air rifle by 200 fps.........That brought my air rifle up to 1,250 fps and was just what I needed for both accuracy and stopping power.........Very good pellets.........I'll buy some more very soon........E BRUNS

    Worth the splurge!
These pellets shoot much more accurately and truly are faster than their alloy or lead counterparts.
