YUMMY !!!
I opened this box expecting to see the familiar shape of the regular Cinnamon Toast Crunch , (square shape , I really didn't look at the outside box carefully ) and to my surprise were hundreds of tiny , square shape French Toast !!!! I was amazed at how cute they were shaped !!! Now for the taste : I tried them first without milk , they were really good ! Then I tried them with some milk , and they were REALLY good !!! They taste almost as if you have a plate of French Toast in front of you , kind of buttery tasting with just a hint of maple syrup and some cinnamon on top. YUMMY !!!!! These are great as is without the milk if you want to snack on something light and tasty , or with milk for a nice breakfast with some fruit on the side . A bowl of this cereal with 1/2 cup skim milk is only 150 calories , without milk is 110 calories , so snack away , your gonna love this cereal !!! Unfortunately I tried to upload a pic, but it wouldn't go thru ......

yummy cereal that isn't too sweet
Although I have never had cinnamon french toast crunch back when it first came out in the 90's. I am a fan of the regular cinnamon toast crunch cereal and grew up eating a lot of it. I would say that this product has a distinct french toast taste to it that is different from the normal cinnamon toast crunch cereal and I would recommend it to french toast fans that don't want a cereal that is excessively sweet. The cereal stays crispy even after having opened the box for more than a week. There's nothing worse than a stale cereal. It's good even just as a snack right out of the box.

    Best cereal for a sad clown ever!
    This cereal is great! I met a very sad clown at a birthday party last week. He was crying a lot and seemed tired. So I gave him a bowl of this cereal with a plastic spoon that looked like a power ranger. After that, he was happy and made three ballon animals. A snake, a worm, and a rope. The party turned out pretty good. Wish there was less spiders. I turned 31.

    Very Tasty Cereal
    I am not a big fan of the sugary cereals but this one wasn't that bad. I especially liked the way each cereal piece is shaped like toast. It even looks like toast with the cinnamon sprinkles on it. My son tried it and absolutely loved it. He finished that box and is now on his 3rd box in 2 weeks. It's the only one I have been able to get him to eat lately. Go figure. I also liked the fact that it didn't get all soggy in milk. I really don't like when you get to the end of the bowl and it's all mushy. This cereal is not like that. which is a plus in my book. I recommend this cereal....Tasty, not too sweet and doesn't get soggy.

    French Toast Crunch Goodness!!
    I am so delighted with this box of cereal. I usually don't buy this type of cereal, dreading the sweetness of the product. This cereal did not come close! I enjoyed the crispy, sweetened corn cereal immensely! The cereal is not overly sweet, and the crunch, and French toast taste is great! I like the fact that the calories per 3/4 cup serving-110, saturated fat-0, sodium-150mg, and sugars-9g, are listed right on the front of the box. I do enjoy General Mills products, and this one is a plus! I also enjoyed this cereal as a snack, without the milk! Just grab a handful, and go. I even put a 3/4 cup serving in a sandwich baggie, and took it with me, in my purse! Need a quick pick-me-up, got it! I love it!! I definitely would recommend this cereal to anyone! And the box tops on the box are a nice added feature!

    I got the cereal to try it and my girls thought it was the best in the world. My brother ate most of the cereal but goes to show that it's good. It tast just like French toast. I was so exited to try this new but old cereal because I hurd how good it was and wanted to try it and so glad it is kinda sweet but good. You can go to Walmart and other grocery stores. If you have kids they will love this cereal and if you like French toast then you will like this kind. I am going to get 2 more boxes before it's gone.

    GENERAL MILLS - FRENCH TOAST CRUNCH CEREAL
    General Mills - French Toast Crunch Cereal is a truly enjoyable product. The package mentions phrases as "You asked, it's back!" and "Remember the '90s?" Further details indicate that in 1995, twenty-years ago, General Mill's had just come out with a whole new cereal bursting with cinnamon and syrup taste called "French Toast Crunch". I do certainly recall that busily complicated year in my life and vaguely having seen this cereal having been just introduced then, where it remained on the market for a relatively brief span of time. Back then, for one reason or another, I had not tried it. Well, I assert without a doubt, that I am glad General Mills has now decided to return this cereal to the market for consumers to buy and enjoy. The nutritional facts specify, the 11.6 ounce(328 gram) container, at a serving size of 3/4 cup, has about twelve servings per container. It is a primarily corn-based cereal product with a potent cinnamon spice and sweet syrupy flavoring. My only not so positive issue with this cereal product is the sugar content need not be so highly prominent; though, that's not surprising and really is to be expected. This cereal not only tastes and smells precisely like authentic French Toast, but appears remarkably identical to a bunch of miniature slices of French Toast. Shaped and sized equivalent to one another, each nugget even has real looking toast crust. If eaten just after the milk is poured, it's rather crunchy, and it indeed needs to soak for awhile before it softens. This cereal doesn't become easily mushy, which many consumers would also find favorable. I believe that this cereal product would be appealing to both adults and children, but especially even more fun for kids. I am a firm believer in purchasing food as fresh as is possible, and I'm pretty sure the fact that this product is recently reintroduced and has an extra fresh "Better If Used By" date is key to why it appears and tastes even that much more irresistible. Honestly, the ingredients contained in most cereals on the market are not nearly as wholesome as could and should be, and this product is no exception to that rule. This food product is certainly not the healthiest possible, if consumed in an excessive, frequent manner. Nevertheless, contradictorily, I desire that General Mills offers their French Toast Crunch Cereal to contain a larger quantity per each package. I am lovin' it.....and you and your kids will, too. Yummy!!!

    My kids new favorite
    I'm a spark reviewer and I requested this cereal because I wanted to see if it was anythng like the original French Toast Crunch of the mid 90's. So I anxiously waited for the package to arrive, and finally last week it came! I opened the box and set the package of cereal on the table and left it there, then my kids noticed it and asked if they could have some, so I said yes (BIG mistake!). Next morning I went to get a bowl of the cereal, and it was all gone! So now I can't personally tell you how I liked the cereal, but obviously my children do!

    Really tastes like French Toast!
    I don't know how they did it, but they really did capture the whole taste of actual french toast in this cereal, the hint of vanilla, the maple syrup, it tastes and smells just like it, only crunchier of course. When I first openned the box and looked inside, I about started laughing, my first impression was that this was like teeny tiny little pieces of toast, so cute! I have to admit, the thought of having my kid pull out her dolls and mini tea set passed through my mind when I first saw this. Once I got past the first impression of the cute design of this cereal and maple scent it gives, I went on to tasting it. I found it that it tastes good both dry and even better with milk in a bowl. The only thing that I would change about this cereal is the fiber content. I would like it better if it had the density and fiber content of something like FiberOne Honey Clusters. That would also be more fulfilling and satisfying. So for now, I mix the two type of cereal together in a bowl at about a 50/50 ratio, which makes for a more satisfying meal. I hope they add more fiber to it in the future and maybe a bit less sugar.

    Delicious cereal even the pickiest will love!
    This cereal was really very tasty. Stayed crunchy in milk and had the taste of actual french toast! This was great as a breakfast, snack or even as a lunch or dinner. Great product by a company I trust.
