A new fixture for our neighborhood games
Plan on a little time to get the hang of stringing the net through the pipes, but once you do, you're on your way. Although very lightweight, this net has a great look and feel to it, perfect for youngsters playing n the driveway and getting used to the game. It won't hold an adult's slap shot, or even a high schoolers' (the force of it will make the whole net jump, it won't rip the netting, which is more than adequate), but for your middle and elementary school students, it's spot on. It's simple, really. The piping is sturdy, and the netting has a good strong weave to it and is spread tautly. The pipes are held firmly together at the joints with small screws, meaning that it moves easily as a single unit, with no chance of falling top pieces. I expect we'll be using this net in our neighborhood games well into hockey season, and for years to come.

Good for Little's
Great for my 3 yo and husband to practice on. Came with a cracked pipe but is great for a beginners net. Cannot shoot hard on net so don't buy for a bantam or midget with a strong shot.

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/11/2018Good goal for casual playGood net for neighborhood street hockey. Easy to assemble. Would not recommend for adults, i hit the pipe twice with medium power wrister and it looked like it can't take any more of those. Kids love it tho, great for them (9-12 yr age range).Sasha Andric

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/22/2016ExcellentThis was relatively easy to put together. I lived how sturdy it is. My boys can put it through a lot of rough action and it still stands and delivers. They play soccer, and hockey with it, all the time. It sits out in the weather without issue. I see this lasting for years.Holly Lee

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/21/2016PVC NetThis is a simple, PVC tubing net. It’s quite lightweight. You’ll want to check to make sure that all of the pieces are inside as soon as you receive it. My box had some “wear-and-tear” from the delivery company, and bits were falling out, but it was all there. It’s easy enough to put together. It does not fold, but it’s also easy enough to take apart for storage as well. At the current price of almost fifty bucks, it’s kind of expensive for plastic Made in China, but overall, it’s not a bad net.G. Hearn

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/21/2016Solid construction and a great sized net will allow for hours of fungreat street net that does the trick. The construction is solid and a lot of fun for kids in the street from hockey to soccer. The construction is solid and it goes together well. The goal is a nice size and allows for great game play. All in all a great street goal for hockey and other street game sports. Anything that can go into a net :) RecommendCustomer

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/12/2016Nice goalThis is a cool goal to have around for a street hockey game or even a toddler soccer game. It's not something you're going to want to take apart regularly, though, so have some space available. Once assembled, it's pretty sturdy and should hold up well for some time.Evan Jacobs

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/31/2016durable and easy to assembleThis is a solid yet lightweight, easy to assemble hockey goal. My ten year old was able to put it together alone in about 20 minutes. The net was the only part that was tricky for him to set up but he's never had a net before that had the top shelf. It's a large goal and is more suitable for large groups rather than one on one hockey. The goal itself is very stable, even when the kids are running into it with rollerblades on. So far it seems durable, being dragged across our concrete driveway doesn't leave deep marks in the plastic. All in all a nice goal at a reasonable price.Liz

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/20/2016A good piece of equipmentPerfect for street hockey, and it's large enough where ice hockey players will be comfortable using it for those street hockey games. Assembly is kind of a pain because of the net, but the net portion is (or can be) a one time only hassle (more on that in a second). The idea is that you route the edge of the net (called the perimeter rope) through channels molded into the frame. Sounds easy, but it is kind of time consuming. The rest of the frame assembles easily and, actually, you don't even need the screws since the elbow joints fit tightly enough to keep the entire thing together. So it's a big item, and it's not something that will store easily when assembled...which is why I'm glad I didn't need the screws. It does disassemble well, and if you're careful you can keep the net attached to the pieces. This saves you from having to restring the net each time you assemble the goal. If you do this, it won't fit in the original box, but it sure takes up less space than the fully assembled goal. It's also intuitive to assemble, which is appreciated. My only real nit is that "innernet" scheme. You have to be fussy and careful to string that net, lest it sag. If you try to force it, you risk tearing the netting off the perimeter rope. So while this is easier than the old-style individually-tie-the-net-to-the-frame schemes, it's still kind of a pain. But again, it's one time only. It's sturdy enough to hold up to spirited play, I like having the top shelf to put my water bottle on, and the dimensions are right on. It's a good piece of equipment. I like it.J. Tant

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/16/2016Perfect for the hockey fansI have two nephews that are huge hockey fans. Both play on junior hockey teams and I thought this would be a great addition to my house when they both come to visit. The set-up of the net is pretty easy to do. It didn't really take that long to put together. My one nephew played with it when I baby-sat him and it seems pretty sturdy so far. I'm pretty pleased with the net.Danielle
