GREAT PRODUCT, LOUSY SPRAYER
The product itself is great. I have been using it forever and it's probably the best spray cleaner around. The product itself gets 5 stars. However, I just purchased a new bottle in which they have replaced the regular sprayer (which worked just fine) with the dreaded plastic sprayer contraption that breaks and leaks. Sure enough, after using the product twice, the sprayer malfunctioned. Sprayer was set to ON, but it would not spray properly, causing the product to leak out all over me, the bottle and the floor. These types of sprayers all eventually leak or break at some time or another. THEY ARE JUNK. PLEASE STOP USING THESE SPRAYERS OR FIX THEM SO THEY LAST AT LEAST UNTIL THE PRODUCT IS USED UP! I'VE HAD IT.

    horrible design!
    I love 409 thus 2 stars instead of 1. However a horrible flaw in the design of the bottle! It has like an outer built in straw that isn't working at all. When you pull the trigger it leaks out all over your hand. Maybe I got a bad bottle, I don't know but it's useless. Can't spray it unless I'm looking to wash my hands with it! I'll have to go buy a spray bottle or just pour it on. Other than that yes the cleaner works. :)

    Formula 409 cleaner, 1 gal.
    This is a wonderful all purpose cleaner. I use this cleaner everyday in all parts of the house. Do use other cleaners but 409 is my #1 cleaner. I always have a jug in the house. The only problem is I can't buy 409 in my local Sam's club so I order is it online 2 gal. at a time. Try it, I swear by it.

    I have tried a lot of different old and new cleaners and I am happiest with Formula 409. This is because in addition to being an excellent cleaner, it is also a disinfectant. I like the spray bottle and the smell is OK, not flowery, and 409 lasts a long time. What more could you ask?
