Worth it
I love the large display. I love how it determines how much sleep I'm getting with a breakdown of every sleep stage. Monitoring heart rate is helping me determine what activities are problematic to assist my doctor in my treatment. I like how the tracker is smaller than many, I hate wearing big bulky things on my wrist. It seems to charge pretty quickly, which is good also.

Poor wrist band design
The band is extremely difficult to put on, especially for older people. Fitbit wants additional 30 dollars for a traditional band that my older mother can use. The fitbit personnel were rude and cut me off while chatting with them. Very bad experience with the new fitbit company.

    I can't recommend this product.
    I like the charge 5. But I just can't love it. It's great with tracking, and I do enjoy the ease of the app with the ability to log food and reading stats, etc. But the RASH. Geesh. I first believed it was the band keeping me with this horrible rash. Although I cleaned it daily with alcohol pads and always removed it beforehand showers, I still had this rash. So, I purchased these breathable, cloth bands separately. I STILL keep getting a rash. Now, the rash remains just underneath the actual monitor/tracker. I wipe this thing multiple times daily with a alcohol pad. What is the deal? I may have to take a loss and purchase an alternative product at this point. I can't recommend it. At. all.

    Bought my charge 5 in November and it lasted till today(March 26th). Had the versa before the charge 5 and it lasted just over a year, 13 months to be exact. I will not buy another fitbit!

    Did not work. Walmart would not honor warranty
    I ordered one as a Christmas present online for my daughter as she was the only one in my household that did not have one. This model's screen is supposed to wake up with movement. After the original charge, it would not stay on long enough to even register it. At some point my daughter was able to register it. After barely 8 hours of use or less, the screen went dark and the device would not wake. We tried every troubleshooting instruction and followed the instructions provided by customer service but it just did not work. We tried to get a replacement from Walmart but they did not have it at the time. We opted to return it for a refund from Walmart within the return window, but the store refused because the barcode on the box was torn when my daughter opened the box. The barcoding was torn because we taped the gift wrap over the bar code. We ended up purchasing a replacement through Amazon for my daughter. That one works. After getting over my anger at Walmart for their failure to honor the warranty on the device, on Friday March 17, my wife decided to intervene and make another attempt at retuning the device. We explained the situation to the customer service rep., Carlos. He was friendly and polite. He promised that we would get an email with a return label within 24 to 48 hours. That did not happen. Lessons learned! 1. Take a gift wrapping class, it may save you $119.00 dollars. 2. Don't purchase anything at Walmart, they don't honor their promises. On any given year I would spend no less than a $1,000.00 on a six month period at Walmart. I have decided I wont buy a head of lettuce from them until they make good on this transaction.

    Nothing To It But To Do It!
    I upgraded from a charge 4 after mine broke. I love the new features and I love how it holds me accountable. I did switch out the band but that is a personal thing nothing wrong with the one that came with it.

    It doesn't have a charger
    This item was a Christmas gift for my best friend and when she tried to put it on the charger there was no charger for it. Now I have to purchase a charger for it which makes me angry.

    Do NOT Buy!
    Both the new and used Fitbits I have had – 4 devices in the past 3 years – lacked durability. At this point, I refuse to buy another [5th] device. I have lost all confidence in Fitbit products. Additionally, Fitbit will not issue a full or partial refund for the annual subscription. (If you purchase your subscription from Google Play Store or Apple, Fitbit will also redirect you to them.) The subscription I have runs from 12/11/2022 - 12/11/2023. As of 02/26/2023, I am unable to use the device or get the most of the membership. (Pictured below - It broke as I was walking.) Save yourself time and money. Find a more durable product. Please note: I did not submerge the Fitbits in water. They were not dropped. They simply have not been durable in my experience.

    Dead in a month.
    Device was working fine, then one morning it started to continuously display the "download the fitbit app". nothing i do has brought it out of this mode. essentially bricked.
