Highly recommend!
I love it! I bought this because I was recently diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. The doctor said I need to change my diet and exercise. The set up was incredibly easy. I installed the app on my LG K20V phone with no problems. It took awhile for the updates to download. Once that happened it was smooth sailing.
Here is a short list of additional pros/cons based on 2 weeks of use.
Pros:
*A compact, sleek design that can be worn at night with minimal issues.
*Easily syncs to the Android app.
*Counts "steps" and their equivalent well, even during activities like spinning that aren't really steps.
*Monitors sleep patterns using an algorithm that breaks down your time into 4 sleep stages.
*Allows manual tracking of food and beverage intake and calorie consumption. The water tracker is awesome.
* Synchs to Tactio Health app (I use it to track my glucose readings!)
Cons:
*Small learning curve- there is a short delay before exercise and sleep showed up on the app.
*It also seems to want to pair to 1 device only, so after pairing to my phone I can run the app on my tablet but only connect via bluetooth once, to the phone.
*The heart rate monitor is inconsistent. There's a slight delay when it kicks in during exercise. Resting heart rates seem fine.
*The weight tracking is basic. It's suitable for fitness newbies like me. Others, may not be as happy with it.

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/09/2021Unfit Bit Won't Charge 3This unit is poorly constructed and customer service is horrifically inadequate at both the manufacturer and supplier level. The unit will not hold a charge and recent attempts to replenish it results in severe overheating. Having sent the unit to FitBit for return, three weeks thereafter the unit has yet to be inspected. Pathetic customer service all around.Georgina

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/27/2021Defective and waiting ona RefundThe package came earlier than expected however the product appeared to be a used or returned item from the get go. This is my 4th Fitbit and The tracker was scratched up on the sides where you charge. My husband told me I was being fussy so coupled by the fact I wanted a charge 3, I proceeded to install it. Well I tried to install it. The tracker went blank and would not turn on. SO DISAPPOINTED! But thats where the disappointment began. I returned it the next day to Walmart and they told me that the reseller had will give me a refund when they received it. I never had a problem with Walmart products so this is the first time heard of that. This seller sold me a defective productclaire

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/11/2021Good fitness trackerGreat tracker for my needs. I highly recommend getting the extended warranty because after a year, you will get lines through the screen. This is the 2nd Fitbit Charge 3 that this has happened to me. I've only had this one 10 months and the lines just showed up. More will happen quickly, then the screen will be unreadable. Also, my Fitbit used to vibrate when I had text notifications. Now it doesn't no matter how much I reset the app settingssmetheney

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/19/2021Fast but not good. The product was delivered early! The security tape on the box was already cut. Once the product was plugged in it showed a white line across the middle of the device. We are returning the product for one that works correctly and has it's security tape in tack.Susan

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/18/2021charge 3 incompatibility with windows 10Purchased 4 months ago still not working with windows 10 and I don't have a smartwatch. It goes thru the motions of initializing ,ie, it syncs in bluetooth, displays the 4 digit code, and my windows 10 fitbit software believes it has succesfully uploaded the software to my charge 3 but all that is displayed on the charge 3 is a faint line.marcia

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/22/2019good buy for the active personbought 2 (one for me and one for my wife) I wear it everyday, it's perfect for those with an active lifestyle, it does more then I use it for but I mainly use it for time, to read notifications while at work without pulling my phone out, and step counter.. its water resistant and very durable.. I dont ever wear my more expensive watches really anymore. it's nice to have the sleek watch on and it doesn't get in the way of thingsb
