Delivers.
I got this swing after another brand's swing kept stopping. This swing hasn't stopped once. My son is enjoying the light show but most importantly the swing actually swings! The only down falls are the base arms do start to lift off the floor. I don't think it would actually fall over but I did add some weight to the base just in case; also, the swing itself is very deep to the point I'm not sure how long my baby will be comfortable in it as he grows. Overall, I'm very satisfied. The swing cover washes up great after little accidents.

overall a good buy
Overall we really like this swing. he best part about it is that it is very quiet and you can make adjustments to the swing, music, or mobile with the touch of a button vs a noisy dial. It is easy to adjust the recline and direction of the swing seat as well. I also think that the seat is cushioned enough and like that the neck/headrest pillow is not too thick. I have used other papasan swings that have thick pillows that caused my baby's neck to be flexed and I was worried about his ability to breathe. Things that I do not like are: the "starlight" feature is VERY bright and not good for at night because I can see it is very distracting to our baby. Also to get the mobile to turn you have to use the same control as the lights and that is a distraction as well when you just want the mobile on. If I was handy at electrical work, I would just disconnect the lights all together. I only gave the durability "average" ratings because I have only had it for a month so I can't say how long it will last.

    My mother bought this for my baby shower and I love it! It has a beautiful mobile that emits stars/moons as it spins. The seat itself also can change direction making the swing go back and forth or side to side. It was super simple to put together.

    I wish we had this from day one--after bringing my granddaughter home from the hospital. She absolutely loves it!! It vibrates with batteries. The swing works without batteries-using the adapter. The songs are great as well as other sounds. My granddaughter is amazed at the light!! Thanks for such a great product!!!!!!

    Purchased this for our 2 month old. We should of purchased it sooner to help him to take naps! He loves looking up at the mobile. The songs are cute and the lights are awesome. The motor is a bit loud but the baby doesn't mind. He eventually falls asleep. Everyone that visits us love it as well and we constantly get compliments that the swing is neat! I so wish they made these for adults!

    Life saver for us
    My baby only sleeps in this. my baby has the habit of getting startled during his sleep and hence waking up. That's why he cannot sleep for more than 10 min in a crib. As all his hand and feet get enclosed in the swing, it prevents him from getting startled. I used both types of swing actions to get my baby to burp less and put him to sleep.

    Cradle Swing - a hit!
    We purchased the cradle swing for close friends of ours who we helped deliver her baby and had it shipped directly to them. Within minutes of opening it, getting it setup and putting the baby in it...he was out like a light and loved it. Product arrived on schedule and was perfect for a room with little space.

    Happy Replacement
    We had the Fisher Price Snugabunny swing when our oldest was born in January of last year. My hubby had a bad habit of stopping it with his knee while leaving the motor running and despite that it lasted until just this month when the motor finally gave up. That made me sad because our youngest (born in December of last year) loved the swing. When I found this Papasan swing I fell in love with it. My youngest has monkeys everywhere and I thought this was a great addition to that. She LOVES IT!!!! She talks to the little monkey on the mobile, she laughs and giggles at the stars, and has even started to hum when the music is on. Thank you, Fisher Price, for making such cute and amazing products for kids and thank you, Wal-mart, for making them affordable and easy to ship to our door! Now if I could just keep my hubby away from this one until we're done having kids!!!

    Great swing, great deal!
    I have only had this swing for a week, but so far so good. I have a daycare in my home, and presently have a 3 month old baby, in my care. He seems to really like the turning mobile, and the star cut outs, which are illuminated. I was afraid that the light would be too bright, but it is not. Music and nature sounds, both seem to entertain him. He usually falls asleep, after 15 minutes or so. I love that it plugs into the wall, as well. Got an incredible deal on it. Was a Special Value deal, for $119 .00, and then on top of that, a free $25·00 e-card, and then, if I opened a new WalMart credit card, I received another $25.00 off! Roughly costing me $75.00, for this great swing!! So, watch for the great deals! They are out there!

    Great Swing at a great price!
    The swing arrived a few days early. It was fairly easy to put together, even without the hubby's help;). I love that it plugs into the wall so I don't always have to replace the batteries. My little one absolutely loves it. He is only 6 weeks old, but he already smiles and coos when the little monkey on the mobile comes around. The lights make a cool little light show on the walls and it is so soft and comfy, my little one tends to fall asleep in it alot. I also love that it has belts that come over his shoulders as well as his waste. He has a little sister that likes to try to pick him up when we aren't looking, so I know he is safe while he is in it.
