Don't do without one of these.
Love the versatility of this unit. It has a long electrical cord so it can be placed away from the outlet. Or you can plug it directly into the outlet. I especially like that it is constantly monitoring Carbon Monoxide levels and records the highest level it sees.

    I like it. Saves space. Easy
    Easy as pie. I had on difficulty with loading the batteries, although I did read about the "flimsy" battery door on front so I was forewarned. It did not seem that flimsy to me, and I love that I can replace the batteries from the front. Also this model doesn't take up even half the space of my previous one, and leaves the other outlet fully available for use. I have not tested it with smoke/CO, but I have run through the various buttons and all of them work as described.

    good product at great price.
    Had best reviews by independent research firm. Bought 2 for my mom whose old one was 17 years old and one to replace my 10 year old one. So far so good. Date of manufacture was Feb. 2017 and bought in June, so should hopefully last 5-10 years. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
