Extremely efficient shredded
This is one of the most powerful shredders I've ever seen outside of a commercial setting. I can shred whole envelopes of mail, credit cards, card stock and coupon mailers. Very well made, solid construction with a fairly large capacity bin. Full window allows you to see internal contents so you don't overfill it. Has a locking switch to prevent accidental activation. Reverse switch also allows lubrication of blades. Says it can operate for 5 minutes before needing to rest. I didn't need it to run that long so I'll take their word for it. Bright white light indicates power is on. Also has a light to let you know when it's hot but again I didn't let it get that far. 11 sheet shred limit is very impressive for home shredder. Paper and cards must be loaded into the center in order to activate blades. Excellent document shredder!

    Wow Amazing how fast this thing chews through sheets of paper. Whatever you do, don't change your mind. Once you hit that shred button, it's pretty much already gone. I love it. I like that it has a lock button too. I haven't tried any plastic cards yet. It's a great size. I was able to put it between my two craft carts and near my son's remote learning desk. It's easy to get to yet out of sight. The motor is definitely hard core. If I had 11 sheets to shred I'd love to see how fast it would eat through them. Reminds me of those movies when they are doing illegal stuff and they say "burn the books" lol. This would definitely get rid of the books VERY FAST...LOL..I definitely recommend for all your LEGAL papers or personal information you need shredded. I take the shredded paper and use it in my wood stove to start fires. Win win..

    Shred Like a Pro
    I have never owned a shredder before but am really impressed by this one. Today I just happened to get replacement credit cards and had a bit of fun shredding the old ones. I did accidentally drop one in incorrectly, but was able to shut off the unit and get the card back before re-inserting properly. Papers were shredded quickly and efficiently, and the noise wasn't as loud as I expected. I think I'll be shredding more documents and expired credit cards from now on!

    This paper shredder is awesome. It will shred 11 pages at one time. I use it almost daily. I like the large storage compartment where the shredded paper is kept until you empty it. Very easy set up and easy to empty once shredder is full.

    Great shredder for your home or small business
    The Fellows crosscut shredder is a great little shredder for your home or small business. It offers shredding of credit cards as well as up to 11 sheets of paper at one time. It will also shred small paperclips and staples, but I try not to do that too often. I like that it is a crosscut shredder, because that offers greater shredding security for your confidential documents. In addition to having an off button there's also a lock button so little fingers don't accidentally get hurt. The waste receptacle holds quite a few shredded pages and has a semi-clear section so you can see how full it is. Working from home, I've used it for about 2 weeks and the bin is only half full. The noise level is comparable to most other shredders, no louder, no quieter. My previous home shredders have all had an expandable reach to fit over a trash can; I wish this one did too. That way I can position it over a larger trash can when I have a large amount of paper to shred. This one will only work when properly positioned over the included waste receptacle and locked in place. It can run continuously for 5 minutes before it requires a cool-down of 30 minutes, but I rarely need to shred for more than 5 continuous minutes.

    Powerful product
    When you first turn on the Fellows LX70 shredder it is very loud. Maybe because there is no noise right now for me. I've used a shredder before so I feel like this one is a bit loud. I believe it is warming up. It seems pretty powerful. I was able to shred 11 pages at a time. Also when I insert the papers there were times I didn't put them in very straight and the shredder still shredded the pages perfectly. I even had a few medical cards that needed shredding and it did great. I'd like to point out though when taking the top part out of the box be careful when grabbing it as you might poke yourself with the medal. As I did. There is no styrofoam or anything to cover the “teeth” of the shredder. Over all I'd say this is a great product with great quality and I was able to get rid of many documents with personal information on it! I like that it has lock on it so it won't be misused by children. This shredder also indicates when it's needs a cool down period. I was able to shred 100 pages in total easily without needing a cool down period.

    I am super impressed with the Fellowes 11c Cross Cut Shredder. It's really a fantastic product. I've had a shredder before but it wasn't nearly as good as this one. The one I had before was not a cross cut shredder and it would constantly get jammed and I would have to clean out the paper from the cutter, which wasn't easy or safe since I had to put my fingers so close to the blades. I got so frustrated with it I just stopped using it all together. But this one is all business. It shreds up to 11 pages at a time and will shred through paper clips and staples. So awesome! I love that it cuts through credit cards and old IDs, as well. Sometimes I don't even open the envelope if I know it's junk mail. I just send the closed envelope through with no problem. I really like how the front of the bin is see through so you can keep an eye on the paper level without taking off the top. It's an 8 gallon bin so it takes a while to fill it up. I'm just way impressed with it. You can stop looking and get this one. You won't be sorry!

    Let's Shred!
    Awesome quiet shredder! This Fellowes LX70 paper shredder (among other things... credit cards, staples, mail) is soo simple and easy to use. Plug it in, turn it on and start shredding! It can shred up to 11 papers at a time (I've only tried up to 8) it can shred all those awful stacks of junk mail and cc card offers with ease! It has a 5 minute continuous shred time as well as an overheat sensor alert. The shredder also comes with a waste bin with a tinted window to see when its time to empty, a reverse switch, and a safety lock which is very handy having 2 little ones at home!! Overall, super happy with this shredder!

    Excellent Shredder
    This shredder is an important addition to my home office. I no longer have to wait for my city to have shredder events or ask my spouse take things to work to shred. This shredder can easily cuts thicker stacks of paper, staples and all. It is compact and looks great next to my desk. It's also very easy to empty.

    This is a fantastic shredder from an awesome brand. This shredder is a replacement for my former paper shredder by the same company, I loved my old paper shredder, it was a workhorse. This shredder is gorgeous, it looks so simple yet it really dresses up the area. I have been able to shred many of my bills and mail with no problems. It is so quiet, compared to my older shredder. I love that this also shreds credit cards and even if you forget to take a staple or a paper clip out, it will go through. I also love that it is cross cut so you have more privacy and less risk if somebody gets into your shredded material. Another thing I love about this is that the window in front of the shredder allows you to see how many shreds are in the shredder and how long you have until you need to empty it. The waste bin holds just under 5 gallons of shreds which is a good amount. I am loving this shredder and I'm very happy with it. One thing to note, make sure you get the oil for the shredder, your shredder will be happy and will last you quite a bit longer.
