Wrong size, wrong product
I did a search for a 2016 scion ia air filter, and this is the product that popped up. The item looks nothing like the picture on the box, and it is the wrong size for a 2016 scion ia. I got it to fit, but I had to pull a redneck and cut some of the sides off with pruning shears.

    Condition of box was so unfit for sale and item was dirty as it was no doubt returned that I will no longer have pick up at this store. Also told by service person at store I would have to wait on long line at customer service area to return or exchange for item that service person said was in store stock, but was not.

    too big; DOESN'T FIT; don't buy
    as someone has already pointed out, this filter has a manufacturing defect. I bought it based on FRAM brand name; bad decision. The hard plastic rim is incorrect size so the filter did not fit 2015 toyota corolla. the other person used a hacksaw to cut down the plastic rim but i chose to just return it. better you get a filter WITHOUT a hard plastic outer rim. the original toyota filter did not have a hard plastic rim either and those are easier to install. i wasted an hour trying to install before i gave up

    Walmart and Fram equals Great Value.
    CA 10190 is for my 2010 Yaris. Just as good as OEM Toyota. Thanks to Walmart and Fram for saving me money.

    I would recommend this item if you have a hacksaw
    The filter is the correct filter for the vehicle (2007 Yaris) and matched the filter that was replaced. However, quality control was lacking in the new filter since it had extra plastic sticking out, and my husband had to use a hacksaw to cut off the extra plastic for it to fit properly in the air filter compartment. Otherwise, we would've given it 5 stars.
