great looking hose
I use a hose on a daily basis for my flower beds. I got this Expert Gardener about a week ago and put it to the test. I noticed first how lightweight it is, which is important to me. I love the fiber jacket and how flat it gets when not in use. I have several flower beds that I have to work around while watering them. Normally, I spend a lot of time checking my hose to keep it from damaging anything it comes in contact. I pulled this Expert Gardener hose all around my yard without having to worry about it breaking anything! Needless to say, that saves me time and energy. I love that it is made with medal fitittings and long thick plastic sleeves to keep it from bending too much at each end. It has great pressure and empties quickly. I only noticed one thing that concerns me. It has a few frayed strings on one end of the hose where it connects to the metal fitting. It could just be strings that didn't get cut. I am posting a picture of it. I hope that is all the problem is and doesn't break apart. Thank you for such a great hose!

Do Not Buy- Save Your Money
I purchased the 100 ft Expert Garden Hose on June 1, 2021. I like the hose but I kept the box and the receipt because my last expandable fabric garden hose ripped. I will NEVER buy another fabric garden hose. Expect Garden Hose ripped on August 7, 2021 and water was everywhere. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED because I only had the garden hose for only 2 months. I paid 50.00 for 100 ft hose with VERY poor quality. No I didn't mishandle the hose and my backyard is very clean. I only the hose to water my garden and flowers.

    defective design
    the hose sprang leaks along the seam in the hose. I previously bought the same hose and returned it the next day for the same identical problem. Thinking maybe it was just a fluke, I purchased the second one. I really liked the design of the hose but unless you provide a lifetime replacement I can't keep throwing money at it.

    wrong product delivered
    the complete wrong product was delivered. Nothing at all like I ordered. Wrong hose, wrong size, etc. I ordered a Expert Gardner fiber jacket 100ft soft hose, got a 50 ft hard plastic Smart Flex hose!! Just a waste of my time, energy and money!!! I order online to avoid going to the store, now I have to go return this junk .

    Good idea, but bad design and quality
    Yes, its lightweight and flexible, but breaks easily. Inside rubber hose sometimes ruptures without any damage to the outside covering. When outside covering is damaged or unsewed the hose will bubble through and burst. Repair is next to impossible. Reaching the manufacturer to complain or get a replacement was impossible for me. I bought three of these hoses. One is ok, two failed within a month or two of light use.

    AWFUL. Bought 3, all 3 burst within a week!
    HORRIBLE. Bought 3 of these and they all burst within 10 days. Flimsy noodle hose with a glued together seal that splits very easily - inside what looks like a study fiber cover. Don't be fooled by the product or reviews. Note: most of the higher ratings are from a promotion (where I'm guessing leaving a good review got you a discount). Don't waste your money or time.

    Cheap tubing material underneath the fiberjacket
    Purchased this on May 1 and returning it on May 17. The hose burst about 6 feet from the spigot after only using it a few times.

    Break easily. Don't buy it.
    The 1-day old hose has a 6" longitudinal leak. What a shame! I and only used it less than 30 times.

    Feels durable
    Since regular 100' hoses are so heavy, I had used expandable hoses for the last several years. Those only last a season (sometimes less) before they burst, so I got a 100' Expert Gardener Ultra Flexible Kink-Free Fiberjacket Garden Hose this year. I have had it a couple weeks. My initial thoughts are that it is not as heavy as regular hoses, but heavier that expandable hoses. I am able to carry the entire thing without struggle. It feels more durable than expandable hoses. It takes up less space than regular hoses, and it's easier to roll up. This hose is flexible, but it does fold into a semi-kink when I move it around. Those folds don't completely stop water flow, and I can usually shake them out without needing to go to that spot to fix it. It comes with a washer in the spigot end, but you'll need another for the nozzle. So far, it has not developed any snags from our patio. I'm hopeful the hose will hold up well.
